Wayne Dowler
If I look right - aren't you one of the guys that came out to Portland awhile back? If that is an SUL, it sure wouldn't have survived the wind we had that day at Delta!! Does it have a light weight leading edge pocket and a bridle made from 90# flying line? If so - that's an SUL, if not, ??? I thought I recognized the other kite on the ground! Yeah, I'm on here too, as well as FB!!
RobB
Looks like a nice place to play ! Especially with water that doesn't threaten to crush your kite when you land in it....
northwavesailor
If this is truly your very first day as a Rev flyer, all I can say is..............nice flying! My 1st day on the lines was not like that
Craig Best
Wow! I'm a new quad guy too but I can tell you I'm lagging behind your skills. I think I need to park my dual line foils for a while and focus more on my Rev!
Flynhi
I didn't realize there were replies on this post! Sorry for the delay! This video was my first time flying a Revolution kite. I had around 100 hours with an off brand quad lines kite. 25 of those were trying to figure out how to get the darn thing in the air! I wish I found the JB vids earlier. Wayne: Yes, I am me from the past. The kite is indeed a SUL and would not have survived that day in Portland. Thanks for flying and meeting up with us! Since this video I have put in well over 50 hours of air time with the SUL. I am finally reaching the point of flying the rev like a quad line instead of a dual lined kite. This park is my favorite place to fly because it is 1 mile from my home. I'll be posting more vids on my channel in the near future. Thanks for watching!

Wayne Dowler
I thought I recognized that quad on the ground!! I remember you saying you had gotten a Rev, and no, it definitely wouldn't have survived the Delta day we had! Nice spot to fly!!
Craig Best
I had around 100 hours with an off brand quad lines kite. Ahhhh.......so there is hope for me!
Wayne Dowler
There's hope for everyone that picks up a Rev!! It's a matter of putting in the time to learn it! Some do, others don't, it's not something that just comes naturally! (Well for most of us!) But it isn't so complicated that it can't be tamed, then controlled, then partnered with, to make a strong combo of flier and kite! Nothing replaces - Time On The Lines!!!
