redroversquared
Hi there. First-time poster; brand-new reader here. I'm looking for a kite. All I know about it is: 1) It's called the Firestone. 2) It's 127 inches wide. 3) It MIGHT be a stunt kite. Preliminary Google searches haven't yielded a hit. Thanks in advance for any leads! Wayne Dowler
Sure that is how it is named? Maybe Firestorm? Haven't Googled it to make sure.
redroversquared
You nailed it, Wayne. The (defunct) Firestorm by New Tech. Thank you! The fella who told me about it had a very thick accent and I'd misunderstood. Cheers.
makatakam
Yeah, it's a big boy. Saw one at a festival somewhere a few years ago. Impressive presence on the field.
Amexpmh
RobB just mentioned one of these in the thread WTB. Also I cannot imagine anyone using stone in a name of a kite. :-) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Murph
You can make out the name on the kite left 'Firestorm' ...middle is a 'Mamba' and right is 'Thor's Hammer' Photo credit to John Chilese Hope thats of some help. Chris
RobB
The Firestorm is one of my favorite kites ! It can fly in 2-10mph wind, anything higher than that will break it. Ask how I know that... There was a blue one for sale recently, but I think it sold. They come up for sale every once in a while.
