nckiter Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 I've seen Penny mention flying on one handed handles. Are these readily available through Rev or custom? Any info appreciated. Can these be used outdoors? Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted February 13, 2006 Report Posted February 13, 2006 I think it would be so awesome if Joe Hedziki (sp) were to create some single handles that would work even better. It opens up a whole new dimension of flying. Roger Maddy that flies 3 quads at once sent the info for these and Gary McEchran made them. Obviously they work outside... ie.. Roger Maddy, however, mine are made of a light metal and bend to easy to be much use to me outside. Roger said they wouldn't work inside, but they do! We can hunt Roger down and he'll send you the info. let us know if your interested. BB Penny Quote
nckiter Posted February 14, 2006 Author Report Posted February 14, 2006 Hi Penny, Thanks for the reply. Yes, I would be interested in more information. How can I learn more? Quote
audioRob Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 You can fly very easily with regular handle, just cross the tops of the handles and from there's it's pretty intuitive I think... Quote
monkey Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 You can fly very easily with regular handle, just cross the tops of the handles and from there's it's pretty intuitive I think... While that does work ok, it tends to shift around and be unmanageable for any length of time. Penny's handle is a lot of fun and rock solid and she can easily do a few routines in a row with it. We should get some pics up of it. Quote
Dorsal Posted February 14, 2006 Report Posted February 14, 2006 Pictures would be nice, as I'm visually lost from the descriptions so far. Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 John~~ Help! I can't find Roger's email or the picture I had for so long. I think it went with all my outook on my old work computer and I never got my outlook back. Do you have his email? Maybe you could contact him and ask him to post the picture here? Roger! Roger Maddy! Come in here please. BB Penny Quote
John Barresi Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 I have no contact info for Maddy, sorry. Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted February 15, 2006 Report Posted February 15, 2006 I have a phone # for him I can try. I took a picture of my handles this AM, but they are not like his. He bends his out and turns the tips in so the line doesn't get tangled on the handle. I'm scared to bend mine so, find out I don't like it andhave to try to bend them back. I can try to post it this PM if John doesn't before then. (POSTED) BB Penny Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Thank you very much John. This picture might be a little better. Hope this helps. BB Penny Quote
nckiter Posted February 16, 2006 Author Report Posted February 16, 2006 Penny, Thanks for the photos on the handle. Are the arms equal length or are the bottoms longer like a typical rev handle? Thanks again Kip Quote
Dorsal Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Well those photos make a world of difference! I understand now. Thanks for posting them Penny. Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 No problem posting them... ok.. a small one. Thanks John! The arms are of equal length. If you can put a swivel in your handles it should be easier. I ping on the strings as needed at this point. I can't wait to get back to the gym. I've cheated and slept in late every day this week. Tomorrow I'll go. BB Penny Quote

We could film some closeup video at LC if you'd like to show people a little more detail. Or, we could keep it super secret squirrel like Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted February 16, 2006 Report Posted February 16, 2006 Ok, Monkey, I like to share. Video would be great. There is a little video in the members section from Arlington, OR. Did you check that out already? It can do more then that for sure. BB Penny Quote
