Greetings everyone!  I've been an occasional, casual kite flier for a few years.  I've always been fascinated with kites, and any flying hobby in general.  But, living in Western Kentucky, winds are rarely ideal for kite flying.  We've got a few descent single line kites, that we bought years ago at our local Sam's Club, and three dual line sport kites.  Our dual lines are a New Tech Detonator, a New Tech Techno, and a Prism 4d.  I've not really put an effort in to learning tricks, other than ground recovery techniques, as I find flying patterns very relaxing.  However, my interest in getting some slack in the lines is growing 😉  I'm looking forward to seeing what everyone is up to in the world of kiting, and enjoying the creations of the kite builders in the community!

Welcome! Those look like great models to pick up trick flying if you’re so inclined. Try some snap stalls, side slides, half axels, helicopters, turtles... so much fun to try and learn :)
