  1. Wooho, photomom is treading on the dark side!
  2. Don't make me come over there! :/
  3. Yes Rob, exactly. I think I have it turned back on for logins, Nick, you having any problems with it now?
  4. You're onto it with the https, we just caught on a couple hours ago. Okay, log out, empty your cache and go to - http://www.kitelife.com/forum (without the s) You can also use the Login button on the main KiteLife page, it's been edited to remove the s. Log in and come back here, let me know if that resolves the issues?
  5. From IPS (forum tech support): Not sure where to go from here...
  6. Ya, but the problem is occurring with you, Jynx and Baloo (3 of our most active members)... I'd like to resolve it if possible. Good news on the shoulder, indeed - thanks! Just a muscle injury, doing prescribed exercises, follow up on the 7th.
  7. Argh, I've been back and forth with tech support trying to figure this out with no luck so far... I realize it's a problem, trying my best.
  8. Going to have my shoulder looked at and x-rayed today, the injury I took back in mid-July is still paining me... Terrified of finding something serious (self-pay), but it's got to be done. :/

  9. Sorry for the inconvenience Nick, I'm not sure what else to try on this end... Invision (forum) tech support hit it right on for me: No fault to you, but without being able to put our hands on the issue ourselves, we're more confused than you are.
  10. Saw a Chinese fellow using one of these in Singapore last year, he had both bird and plane models... I too, am dumbfounded by the skill required to manipulate that reel.
  11. Okay, made one server tweak today (due to another issue)... Long shot - just out of curiosity, is the problem resolved?
  12. Anyone have a current email address for Andy Selzer? If so, please send me a PM - thanks!

  13. Thanks for the updates all. The main page login form should be gone as of 4-5 days ago, should just be the login link on the menu bar which takes you to the forum... All logins should be made through the forum, but are supposed to carry over automatically (keep you logged in) to the main site as well.
  14. I always hate to put someone in that position, but it would be a good idea anyway... http://techcrunch.co...or-the-browser/ http://pcworld.co.nz...r-ie8-on-nov-15 http://zoompf.com/20...e-and-thats-bad November 15th, looks like all Google Apps will no longer work on IE8.
  15. iQuad is also going to be doing our annual outdoor clinic at SPI all day Friday. Sadly, there isn't another day we can use (same as Lisa), so folks will just need to decide which one they're most interested in this year... No hard feelings, as long as you have fun and learn something! Reach http://www.bskites.com for more info and registration details for either workshop / clinic.
  16. Out for dinner, pretty popular joint. :)

  17. Our one our members (Reef Runner / Nick) has been unable to create new posts or reply for the past week or so, and the reply box (into which I'm typing now) won't even load for him on some pages. We've proven this out on FIVE of his computers, experimenting with security, javascript, cache, cookies, etc, all to no avail... So, I'm asking you to help troubleshoot a little for me simply by letting me know what you're using to browse this forum and if you're having any problems. If you ARE having problems and cannot reply, please send me an email by clicking here. Nick and I both thank you in advance, I'd really like to get him up and running with us again.
