So today I watched a huge pelican for a good 30minutes.

It was wingtip surfing just as I do with the kite and you could yell it was an intentional action.Up and down the beach. As each swell came through, it would drop to a point of one wing skimming the face and lip of the wave. As the wave broke..it would jump to the backside and head directly for the next swell.

It was pretty cool! Wish I would have had a camera handy.
