I have had the helicopter issue quite a few times..base nearby and flying on the coast. As far as roadside, you would be suprised how many people just ignore it or don't even acknowledge what is going on. I fly in a lot that is near a major bridge off ramp and near a lighted fork in the road..... I have yet too see any issues,other than the occasional slow driver.

I think its all about taste and what your flavor is..... I tend to move towards a newer generation of music. I was raised on all the stuff described. These days I am rolling "slightly stoopid" acoustics or some reggae (new and old). If you have a connection with both kite and music,regardless of the style,good things will come from it!

2 weeks is too long without a set of Revolution Kite handles in my hands...

It's no Cadillac...but it sure is nice to drive the pickup again and in a strange way, I almost can't wait to rebuild the th350 and get some umph back in my life with some mild pucker up power in the "old" truck.

Whom ever said "3rd times a charm" lied. It's the 4th one that counts!
After 4 removal,rebuild,reinstalls of the transmission....I'm done!
And even though it took 4 times (my mistakes) and cost me my job (which was basically worthless)..it was still a hell of a lot cheaper than going to a so called "transmission shop"!

After removal and teardown #4 of the 4l60e..... I have come to realize ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE.

So...its come to the point that I can pull a Chevy 4l60e from a 1/2 ton pickup..tear it apart.. new seals..put it back together..installed and on the road in 4.5 hrs.
If only it would work..... No low/reverse on the first time. No reverse on the second time. No 2/4 on the 3rd time.
Anyone got a match!?

Rarely will you catch me with a kite in the air without some jams....whether it be a glider in the living room or my Rev on 120's in some good wind.. Music makes the world go 'round.

Exactly, no 2 kites react the same...whether its a glider or not...and no 2 people will agree as to how each kite reacts.. its about what feels comfortable and pleasing to you! I have never flown a skate....so cant reply on that.But, I do fly Wala and xl on a regular basis and love them both.

As far as lasting forever? Idk about that... It all depends on the conditions and your forethought. I fly daily..like I stole it... On a b standard, it lasted about 4 months..with regular cleaning and maintenance. Now this is ALL conditions, whether 20+ or 0 ...it was going in the air.....some stack play in strong winds also. All frames are very durable on their ranges.... push that and risk breakage. Handles can be compensated for through leaders to a point... I run 1:5 handles on everything .

No low / reverse in the rebuild.... Back out and apart it comes,must have cut a seal.

It's always nice to know that a part so insignificant that the shop doesn't even charge you for it....can keep your vehicle from moving.
Knew I would lose it when I tore it apart!

I feel like a bad kite owner.....as my kites sit couped up in the back of a Jeep with a thrown rod...or 2.... and all my kite money goes towards vehicle repairs.
One more day my friends, and there will be First class taxi service to sunshine and salt air!
Although.... I did fly for about an hour in the living room for about an hour after midnite(and video soon) the other day
Nice to have the Iflite addition to the kite mix!

Feeling a Wala Xl today...dead tired and a very slight breeze.
That is if I can ever get motivated to stand back up and walk 30yds.....
