It's getting close to the weekend...
I wonder how much a flight to NJ is?
Those that know ....know.
It sure would be cool to meet some people, old and new ...and attend a major event!

3 comes into play with low winds.... As you shadow box your way into a stunning routine.... Bobbing,weaving,follwed by the watermelon crawl and 2 step.

Thanks to the J.S.O. Officer thay took hos uniform off a coat hanger, so i could unlock the jeep and get my keys off the dash..

What a disappointment... 4 gigs of video. Kid play,camera play,loads of ground work,good wind,axels,flic flacs..some of my best flying yet.....
And the camera shifted high!
I was so looking forward to reviewing.....as it looks different to me from the pilots angle.
It was still fun and the desired effect is still there!

A blue jay sitting on the power line 3 feet from my blue wala gliding by....singing away! Wish my camera was out.

Save the keystrokes this time.....my karma is good,and jah has poured blessings upon me. Handed the kite off to adults ,kids,..helped,watched....teased and aggrivated certain passer by's. .......and just to be safe once again...... Woooooooooosssssssaaaaaahhhhhhh!

After todays flight... More now then ever, i need the proper setup. Sure wouldn't mind too much if this beauty showed up at my door!

If its any conciliation...blew out a bungee and some seams starting to come apart... Old kite is on its last flights!

I have only flown the 2 stack a few times ....once in some stiff wind. It was Fun and exhausting at the same time. I for sure want a dedicated stack of 5, but would be happy with a stack of 3 for awhile.

I learned everything off the web (tons of reading) with trial and error...error..error There are loads of good videos on youtube with the pilot and kite visible for the Wala and several other kites..Iflite,Emong,etc... I would agree that the Wala is not the best "glider" in the bunch..... but its abilities as an all around kite in both no wind and high wind , for the price...its quite fun and Very durable... although with each nose dive watch the wing tip ends for repair. I also found throw launches easier and better for the kite...as the belly (spine) doesn't like abrasive rubbing for too long before holes will appear. I want them all.... my golf game is lacking with only 1 club -

Its a constant battle with line length..giving....taking...manipultaing line tension in the finest ways to achieve what you are looking for... Play with the spine tension too.. as Mr. Dowler suggested for indoors,loosen it up...or whatever tickles your fancy at the time. I run mine semi-loose pretty regularly. I love both of mine..and the XL is quickly becoming the "goto" kite daily..in the street,while the wife shops,traffic was bad,etc... -
I fly daily. Always the rev..unless there is just nothing there wind wise. Then the Wala and Xl come out. Whether it's 15 minutes or several hours, it is MY time and everyone needs it! Granted there are days that life just doesn't let it happen, but that doesn't happen too often for me I have only been flying revs about a year now and some thing are already embedded in the body and brain... Try the old shadow flying routine and test your brain.

Sometimes I fly up and down the street much to the amusement of my neighbours, people on the oval, various dog walkers, people driving past.... I think it was John that shared something not long ago, I don't remember the person quoted from...... It basically said " Those that were seen dancing ..were considered crazy by those that could not hear the music" I did it this evening with some cold beers , 4 gigs of video to rumble through.

What an evening! An afternoon with the Rev on the beach..shower and 2 hours with the Wala XL in NO WIND....with some cold beers and some smooth reggae vibrations. String burn to boot on my fingers. I wouldn't give it up for the world!

A challenging afternoon at the beach kite flying is better than no afternoon at the beach flying at all!

There are custom B's available... but only in certain colors from what I have seen. My grey fade was labeled custom, and was also available in the black rainbow from www.kiteconnection.com. They are just custom colors of production models from what it appears. As far as flight, I only have an EXP to compare to...and the B is much better,and even more so once "broken in"
