  1. I'll tell you what, though. I read your latest blog entry about the fella that's supposedly a kite flyer, but didn't invite you to fly. I can assure you that if we are ever at the same field you are welcome to fly from my bags.
  2. Just wanted to make sure there wasn't a level of rev awesome I was missing.
  3. Would love to help, Nick, but I am pathologically incapable of parting with my kites.
  4. This is regular (factory) model, it is not a Pro by Bazzer, but will still provide excellent flying for whoever wins. Is there such a thing as a B2 Pro? Cause I didn't know about that. I believe I need to win this one...I really do.
  5. Congratulations, James. That should be a sweet kite. Sorry, Rob, I guess I wasn't hoping for you hard enough.
  6. How many active members does that make, John?
  7. The speed series kites and the rev2's come with 11 inch handles, but I prefer the 13 inch handles for both. The 11 inch handles put less input into the kite since they won't move as far with an equivalent rotation as the longer handles so people say that's better for the twitchy kites and for beginners, but I always felt like the control with the short handles was squishy and unresponsive even when I was learning. I fly 80' 175# Skybond on my sonic vented, and I fly Skybond on all my revs. It seems to slip better than the laser pro gold to me. I'm not putting LPG down, It's great line. I simply prefer how the Skybond feels. You are entering the dark side, Nick Russell, where you will soon learn there is no one answer for any question.the best way is to get the kite in the air and learn what you like. We are never lacking in opinions though.
  8. A tip of the hat to you, rexracer. Well done, my friend. This is awesome!
  9. Looks like your book is getting some good reviews, too. Congratulations!
  10. In case anyone is curious I've had Aerosmith stuck in my head ever since I posted this. Oh well
  11. So, Nick Russell, how's the search for the next prize coming along?
  12. Awesome, Nick. I'll be paying attention
  13. I'm really intrigued as to the prize to be offered in the next drawing.
  14. The non kiting stuff is intriguing too. I might have to go back to the beginning.
  15. I'll be following that blog. You have talent my friend. I can't believe you didn't mention winning a kite yesterday, though.
  16. Nick Russell from Anywhere, USA, you should start a thread on here in the open topic area about your travels and kite flying across the country. That would be cool to follow.
  17. Check out the rules thread and the previous drawings threads to get an idea of the the guidelines and previous prizes.
  18. Still available at some retailers, but definitely not to be found at Sky Dog
