  1. I would buy the 2 or 3 custom revs I want to finish my desired collection, I would help my wife get the farm we would buy going (with large open area for flying) then I would pay Robert Brasington to teach me how to sew kites as beautifully as he does. Then life would be flying kites, making kites, and working on the farm. If I won enough, I might even help out a couple of my favorite kite shops if they were interested.
  2. Just wanted to add to this. I know it's old, but it's relevant in light if recent events in the Midwest. We love a sport that relies on the wind for maximum enjoyment. However, when that wind gets strong it can really destroy things, least of all kites. My thoughts and prayers are with the people in and around Oklahoma City. I don't know if any of our kite friends are out there, but I hope all are well.
  3. http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/986-travelling-with-kites/ Many ways of doing it suggested here.
  4. I've carried on a B2 with the handles and line in my checked bag. There is a travel frame for the 1.5 size revs that will let it fit in a standard carryon bag. I wouldn't check it in a tube. I've often considered packing them well in a tube and shipping them to the hotel at my destination via fed ex if carryon wasn't an option. I don't trust airport baggage slingers to not break it in a tube. I'm sure John knows the best way.
  5. I'm just sad I missed out on the opportunity for last minute smack talk. It's best right before the drawing.
  6. I think I like that idea!!! I wouldn't protest that notion! Play with the coincidence RNG. It would be perfect.
  7. Something about that color makes me think of non traditional fire engines. Bet it glows in the sky.
  8. Sucks about the cerveza. Hope you were almost done. Wouldn't mind winning this one myself.
  9. Speaking as a "zoom around, if I manage to do a slack line trick, it's an accident and results in a tangle, happy doing figure 8's and square turns" duallie flyer, I believe that there is nothing wrong with owning a kite that is capable of more than I am. That just means I don't have to spend more money as I get better.
  10. If one is fun, two is better. Come on RNG, 1052
  11. Dang it! So close. Oh well, guess I just have to settle for my early birthday Kymera. So tough. Congratulations, Erik. Fly the hell out of it, and send pics or video.
  12. Another B-day present, I presume Yes, indeed, sir.
  13. I think he has over 3 more weeks to claim if I read John's post correctly.
  14. Still hovering under the radar. Gonna look good in my bag.
  15. We few, we happy few, we band of brothers
  16. Hoping that all the attention on the rev suite will mean we few who are paying attention to the crossfire might get a little lucky.
  17. It's gonna be awesome. After the first I will be awaiting this sweet threesome of B2s and the AKA light wind prism threesome as well. Gonna be good times in the East Tennessee hills.
  18. I agree with WA about the winning and losing. I wouldn't be sad to lose. Won't have to worry about that, though. Cause there's no place like my home for that sweet suite (they're not going to Oz).
  19. Can we get 22 more posts in 3 days? 300 before the drawing. That would be cool. 100 for each of my future kites.
  20. I had to go back and see what strut you were talking about. Nearly the full on Travolta, well earned. Unbelievable skill.
  21. That is Awesome, John. Sorry I'm one of that number. Shoulda been here a long time earlier than I was.
  22. Okay, that's just ridiculous. Really getting an itch to start learning duallie tricks, cause WOW!
  23. John, Just out of curiosity, how many subscribers have joined or renewed since February 20th, when you announced this giveaway? Barton
