Well, maybe this topic should be in the KAP forum, but we got to ask - did you ever flew a kite where you felt you shouldn't? We did a kite aerial photography session above a cemetery - and it felt wrong ... our plan was to fly the kite directly above it ant to shoot straight down, but we just couldn't do that - so we flew the kite beside the cemetery ... it was like we were invasive and disrespectful ... like the fun that goes with flying a kite was somehow inappropriate for the place. Had any of you a similar experience?

I messed up with the audio, still working out the whole editing thing! It was mainly wind noise anyway.

Hello everyone, My name is Rita and I'm studying anthropology. I'm writing a paper on technics and I picked kiting. I don't want to bother your community on this forum but would be extremely thankful if some of you could tell me why you started flying, how did you come to it at the first place and what does it mean to you now ? I find this utterly beautiful that humans persist kiting for centuries. Do you all link flying a kite with flying ? Thank you for your time and good flights Rita
