riffclown Posted April 7, 2020 Author Report Posted April 7, 2020 A bit of framing to complete and bridle needs to be tied but here's the look. 2 Quote
riffclown Posted April 7, 2020 Author Report Posted April 7, 2020 Successful bridle test. This kite is ready for 10-20MPH winds. Quote
riffclown Posted April 10, 2020 Author Report Posted April 10, 2020 very swirling winds (note the kite on the ground flipping back in the first segment.) but a few seconds of usable flight time. 2 Quote
DonFibonacci Posted April 10, 2020 Report Posted April 10, 2020 Reminds me of a recent throw I did where the kite went about halfway out and then turned around. It was having none of it. Quote
John Barresi Posted April 10, 2020 Report Posted April 10, 2020 Good video of @windpoacher somewhere, throwing his Rev off a cliff to have the same thing happen. 🤣 Quote
riffclown Posted April 11, 2020 Author Report Posted April 11, 2020 I did successfully throw launch one of my Symphony 2.2.4's once at Jockeys Ridge. Winds were OBX strong and I just tossed it straight up. Even had witnesses. Wind in my neighborhood is notorious for the swirl. My usual spots are just not available right now. Quote
riffclown Posted April 30, 2020 Author Report Posted April 30, 2020 Just a quick composite of a throw launch. 1 Quote
