Kite # 89 will be a riffclown Diamonds vented sail. Will start cutting strips and prepping the fabric this evening. it's been a while since I've made a Diamonds..

Fabric strips are cut and Leading edge is ready and waiting.

OK but they are kind of "meh" until I get to the pattern reveal. Hopefully Tomorrow.

I think it will look great , however I don't understand the process well enough to know exactly what's happening, anxious to see what happens next.

  While it still very rough at the moment imagine here being the leading edge..

 

Turn it to the proper angles and you can see roughly the right wing of the kite..  Still a long ways to go aligning and building the center but this should help visualize where the pattern is coming from.

and 21 hours later.   I still need to do bungees, caps and bridle but all the sewing is done.
