sky fish
With the on set of darker days. I have been thinking about finding the best way to extend the flying seson. .O.K I am hooked and dont waht to stop I know that there are light 's that can be atatched .What is the best and how much can that effect the weight and performance of your kite? Is there any kite made out off glow in the dark matirial?
ant man
go to www.lytech wire.com and they have neon glow wire kites from 10 to 300 feet and they are powered by a 9 volt battery the setup is good if there is wind but not so good in a light wind ther are also magnet lights sold in any toy store the are lighter but can fall off sometimes also visit www.windpowersports.com they have lights too
Dorsal
About a month ago, I was in Walgreen's and noticed some small white light LED flashlights at the checkout counter. They are about 1/2" in diameter, 1 1/2" long, and have a Velcro strap to wrap around one finger. They are powered by 3 watch batteries (sealed inside) and were on sale at 2 for $1.95. I haven't flown with them yet, but the Velcro straps are very adequate to wrap around the lower LE connector on a stunt kite, to spread the light up, from each side, toward the nose. They should work great! Look around - you might find something like them in your local stores.

Penny Lingenfelter
I've been flying the UFO with lights at night... fun! the same lights will go on my rev. 4 for $1.00 at the six star. I opened them up and checked them at the store, that way I exchanged the ones that weren't working right then and there. It's fun, and Laurel's 5 yr. old grandson, Jeffrey, flew it outside at the Up Your Wind Pacific Beach Kite Festival dinner. The lights took a beating and Jeffrey would flip them on if they were turned off. BB Penny
