Quad KiT Posted November 22, 2006 Author Report Posted November 22, 2006 Thats because you arent going to win a REV I on the 15th. You are going to watch me fly it on the 17th. Quote
windofchange Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 The Randy Tom series Rev's are just beautiful!!! The detail in every stitch is perfect and the layout is awesome. Just thought I would share the pair that I got. They are already hooked up in a two stack, got to fly them for a brief moment when the wind finally cooperated and hopefully I will get some decent pictures of them to share with ya'll. Quote
John Barresi Posted November 22, 2006 Report Posted November 22, 2006 Here's the father to the "eyes" series that Bazzer is about to release through Rev... Of course, this is a Rev 1... The public release will be a 1.5 model. I also have one of the Gibians, will have to take a photo and share it later. Quote
ant man Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 john did you come up with that idea i like it Quote
John Barresi Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 Nope, it's Bazzer's 100%... I also have a vented, and Ben from Rev has two exactly like mine in orange instead of blue... 4 of a kind, never to be made again. The new 1.5s have a few little changes that make it look nicer though. Quote
ant man Posted November 23, 2006 Report Posted November 23, 2006 1.5 changes aaahhh man after christmas i start makeing better money i cant wait to see what lolly and the brothers have going on i hope something with a little style change is sometines good Quote
Quad KiT Posted November 23, 2006 Author Report Posted November 23, 2006 Those eyes are awesome... I want to see something with more earth tone colors... maybe an Eddie Bauer or LL Bean edition, hehe. But seriously I like the rusts, mosses, browns, khakis, terra cotta. I know traditionally kiting has been all about bright or bold colors but a REV is not a traditional kite... I am always inspired by Asian art... how about some bamboo greens mixed in. Just my thoughts. Maybe I should post to Ben. His gold and blue stack, if those are his, are getting closer to what I am talking about. Quote

Yes those are mine the stack of gold and blue and as always I do listen, and I like you am inspired by Asian art and in a big way. A little news I have Micki San and Linda looking for a Asian artist that I can work with and who will bring something new to the table. So everyone knows I am always looking and hopeing to see something that catchs my eye and that is good for our platform...........Ben Quote

Penny Lingenfelter Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Ben, I spoke with Ken Conrad and he said he had been in touch with you about custom colors on their ink. Great looking stuff, light weight and I'm hoping less expensive then the limited custom editions. Any chance we'll see some of this in the future? if it's affordable it might be something that the public would want as a series rather then limited edition. It's quite beautiful. John Barresi Posted December 26, 2006 Report Posted December 26, 2006 Two related threads in this forum, but I figured I'd post these two recent additions to my collection... Quote
Penny Lingenfelter Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 Are you excited or what John! lol I've seen them all over. Great gifts. I didn't get a kite for Christmas.. but no complaints. Hard golf case for kite travels, bundgee, for buggy, music editing program.. Gortex coat... I'm ready.. there's got to be a kite under all this stuff somewhere. BB Penny Quote
