John Barresi Posted March 26, 2007 Report Posted March 26, 2007 Alright gang, I just booked a couple more tickets for Wildwood... It looks like iQuad WILL be there, but we'd still like to gather up a "B" team to fly with us at the event. I can pretty safely say these guys will be involved: John Barresi Steve de Rooy Todd Rudolph David Hathaway Ben D'Antonio Mike Kory Scott Weider (part-time, he's also Head Judge of the comps) Anthony Lauriello Jim Cosca Kris Smith Who else will be there and wants to be involved? If you're interested, check out this page and make sure you've been practicing. Quote

monkey Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 speaking of the beer who likes what so i know what to pack in the cooler im going to go with miller lite and guys cans only sorry the cops frown on bottles Truth be told i generally don't drink during the day, and NEVER "lite" anything Quote
Quad KiT Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 The beaches I fly at the cops frown on all beer in general. This will be a change for me. I wonder if we offer beer to the competitors could we sweep the placings? And I guess we will have to make Ant a new "real men of genius" track Today we salute you, Mr. Kite flying beer drinking man... while everyone else's SLK is hovering in the air, yours seems to swerve all over the sky...(swerving in the wind) and like some airplane pilots, you have no problem drinking while flying. So pop open another beer Mr. Kite flying beer drinking man... OK I am bored... Quote

So pop open another beer Mr. Kite flying beer drinking man... OK I am bored... That's the problem when you fly kites in the states. The cops are out there to bust you for drinking your beer on the field. In most of Europe bring your beer and share it around on the field. The cops might even enjoy one with you when they know they can get away with it. Quote
ant man Posted April 7, 2007 Report Posted April 7, 2007 wel the cops dont like it here but i always bring it in cans and toss it in the recycle buckets afterwords no littler no problem Quote
John Barresi Posted April 19, 2007 Author Report Posted April 19, 2007 Just added two more iQuad guys, bringing the total members in Wildwood to FOUR. YAAAAAY! Quote

Quad KiT Posted April 22, 2007 Report Posted April 22, 2007 Flew REVs with Jim Cosca and Paul (forgot his last name) this weekend at Blue Ridge kite festival. These guys were great and introduced me to some basic team REV flying. Man Wildwood is going to be a blast!! I see Jim's name on the list so I can only assume I am going to have the greatest time ever! can't wait! Also gave me pointers to improve my reverse, light wind techniques and just were all around fun REV flyers! Quote
