I will be sure to bring an extra pair to the flying field then!

I have never flown in formation with other rev flyers so it was a nice experience for me. The thing I like most about these guys was their desire to share information and to teach. He also spoke highly of you (who doesn't?), and he was flying a B series!

Dude if you aren't use to going between people's lines and having them go between yours get ready!

I learned how to get in and out of other fliers lines. I also learned how to enter lines. I learned a little about always offering an out.

I wasn't use to someone touching up on my lines, it was a little bit of a learning curve for me. I got a long ways to go!

Oh yes.

Moving with the pressure of other lines on yours can be a bit disorienting at first, but, you do get used to it, as I'm sure you found. And Ant? It won't take long. :sign_kitelife: The key I find is to try and avoid thinking about it and simply keep your eyes locked onto your own kite.

Two other key moves that get used a lot in team flying :

1] 180 degree turns, in place, ie, a complete change of direction.

2] Tip pivots up, and down, ie, a leading edge forward half circle either down or up, approx the height of the rev you will be replacing in the line.

is it Wildwood time yet?

:kid_content:

(And I'll vouch for Jim Cosca and Paul LaMasters being GREAT guys)

Wasn't Paul LaMasters, although he was there. It was another Paul from WOW, great guy too!

Man I got so much to learn. I picked up a lot but I need to practice it. The main thing is for me is to just have fun with it!

Might have been Paul Dugard...

Tip pivots are easy about 1/8th of the time. If you are center wind it seems to me to be very easy BUT get to the edge of the wind and it is a different thing. I forget where I am and that baby just takes off! I guess I just have more time flying needed.
