Spence Watson
Here's the deal, I was flying my rev Indooor outside in about 1 mph wind, when suddenly one of the bridal type things snapped !(This was a little while ago). I never found the end cap. Ben sent out a new piece for me . I just got the piece in the mail, and the hard end cap part was broken in three places . As if it couldn't get worse, I was flying my 1.5 in low wind with my Rev Indoor 2 Wrap down spars. I got what I thought was a little wing wrap, but when I pulled on a line, one of the down spars snapped in half !! Hopefully I'll be able to get everything fixed at WSIKF. Thanks for listening to me vent!
ant man
watty no biggie man those pigtails for the indoor are eazy to make just use some left over kite line .. 90# test will work good and just tie the knots where they have them
Spence Watson
Well, I already got the string and stuff, but the endcap is broken. Ben's just gonna bring the little endcap piece to WSIKF.

Ben's just gonna bring the little endcap piece to WSIKF. Spence I do not care for the indoor caps at all. They will fail me when needed, ie the middle of a demo. I switch them out as quick as possible for an outdoor cap tied on w/ good 90 lb line. I've not had a problem yet with a redo. The caps are a little loose, but it does not really matter. Not take some of that pent up anger and beat up the sky with your Rev! BB Penny

Penny Lingenfelter
Future? Hey John, I said "future" because so far I've only really seen Tristan at competitions. I've met more then a few serious compeitors who want nothing to do with demo's or shows. So, does he wish to show, or just compete? I've learned not to assume they all wish to show. Hmm, pay to fly in competition, or get paid to fly for show? I don't get it, but to each their own. BB Penny~packed for WSIKF.
John Barresi
Ah, I understand... I've seen him demo before, that's why my curiosity was piqued.
Spence Watson
The rev indoor strikes again!!!! Yesterday, I was indoor flying at a school gym (My mom is the vice principal) and out of no where one of the spars in the LE cracked. I went to look at it and then end of the spar was cracked severall times on the side that was connected in the center. I took the spar and taped up the broken end and put it back in as a down spar. The spar that replaced it then had the same thing happen to it moments later. once again I taped it up and replaced it as a down spar. This time I took my two unbroaken spars and taped up the end that connected to the center, and it didn't happen again. The kite still flies fine, but..... Usually a rod will take a lot of abuse before it cracks. I've seen your style Spence, you are a go getter with your kite. That quick style of yours is apt to get a few shin splints in those rods before they break. It comes with the territory, don't change your style, you are doing great.
