JoneZ
2"...pfft.... Gimme 2 feet!!! I miss the snow so much! The Canuck in me is extremely satisfied right now. lol Paintings been real slow this winter. Probably the worst we've experienced. Kind of putting a hinder on getting my immigration papers through. =\ Been doing a little web designing here and there, some rogue network admin and repair, and pickin up whatever painting side jobs I can find. Been pretty blessed this year, despite the recession, and compared to last year we're rollin in it. lol
JoneZ
Bahhh. My Wife is coming down with a cold, and may not make it to the fly day. As its looking now, its going to be a soaking wet day (thrus and fri). I mean REAL wet. They're calling for 2"-4"!!! Delta park is gonna be a slush pit for sure. lol Sunday is looking very promising for decent weather. I think I may hit Delta park on Sun. as well. Im just hoping (knock on wood) that I don't catch this cold.

Guru4tru
If anyone from your Artic area wins those "FOUR LIGHTLY USED 2009 BLASTS w/both SLE and Ultralight leading edge spars!" then 4 people will have a "free" flight to Florida. Just wait for a good wind from the Northwest and put them into the air! (make sure you have enough line to reach the "jetstream" and pack a lunch!!) Keep It Up! Cheers all!!! sounds like a good time... hope it was warmer than Milwaukee (although Milwaukee was pretty warm with hand warmers in my mittens and a cup of Jynks' hot chocolate)

JoneZ
hehe, Glad I was able (in my rev newbness) to hold my Rev steady enough for that picture! Good times Everyone!!
John Barresi
You did great Jon, like I said... It'll come to you really quick.
JoneZ
hehe thanks man. I 'feel' quads more. Im sure (once my cold runs its course) more practice time out there, and my learning curve will shoot 90o. I think Im a natural at it (nothin like floating ones own boat huh? lol). Thanks for the tweaks out on the field. I moved the knots up on the top and bottom bungees on my down spars to tighten up the sail. I can't wait to get her out there!!!! I was pretty determined today to go out and fly, but my head quickly filled up with "sick" (feels 10lbs heavier today) so I better not press my luck. lol
John Barresi
Best of luck for a speedy recovery brother. We'll be out doing team moves before ya know it! Grrr... If the rain would clear, I'd be out on my dock right now.
JoneZ
Oh!! I meant to mention, that I took out all the knots off my top leader lines, except for the last knot, and that lengthened the leader line to about 11.5". So that'll do me until I can get over to T and snag some bridle line (Costs about 5 gallons of gas to get to Vancouver and back in the Jeep. o.0). I added another set of knots on my bottom leaders, so I"ll just adjust from there in the meantime.
