SparkieRob
I wouldn't say better, just a different kind of fun.
Wayne Dowler
Definitely different! The 1.5 is the standard for everyone flying team, almost!! Lots of control in that platform!! The Rev2/B2 size is so much lighter and quicker! 2 completely different animals to fly! Give me a steady 5 mph and I'm very happy!
SkyPuppets LimitVoodoo
While I love the Race frame in my STD 1.5 for what it does, I love the 3 wrap frame for how it feels... STD sail 1.5, 3 wrap frame, give me a STEADY 8 mph. Actually, give me any wind speed > 1mph, so long as its a steady wind speed. Steady wind speed equates to optimal in my head.
John Barresi
I'm with SkyPuppet all the way! 1mph+ is good for me, from there, it's just different flavors of awesome as you scale through the various wind speeds / equipment combinations. There really is no "best" wind, because every kite feels different (faster, more precise, smoother, etc in their own ideal wind) it all depends on the wind quality, kite of choice, frame of choice, line weight, handle length and level of training - it's all play land, best to play with everything you can to find your own muse(s).

It has renewed my vigor for kite flying and makes me want to try new things and combos of things . Fair winds to you all.
