Jeepster Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Oh yes ... the "I-70 Diner" in Flagler Colorado. Yep, it's on I-70 east of Denver out in the middle of nowhere. Great old time dinner. Great food ... no actually it's fantastic food. We stumbled upon it quite by accident four or five years ago. Now we plan our trips so that we'll be hungry when we get to Flagler. The chef's name is Rick ... if things are not busy, ask how he got from the mid-west to Flagler. Oh yes, also ask how the dinner made it's way to Flagler. Both are interesting stories. John Barresi Posted June 26, 2014 Report Posted June 26, 2014 Whew, long day! Highlight was definitely flying at the Great Dunes (yes we got some footage for later editing)... And our cozy little campground for the night, San Luis Valley Campground... $18 campsite includes shower, wifi, tea/coffee, common room access, great owners also let us have an RV site (hookups) for $20 flat. Tomorrow, we finish our beautiful drive to Steamboat Springs CO! 1 Quote
