UPDATE 1-5-19... First time my beautiful wife Lori came out to watch me fly, and fly I did! With the wind out of the west we moved off the beach to a park on the open water. Great winds, gusty but not like yesterday, flew the 1.5 vented for 2 hours with top lines all the way out. I flew the reflex for 30 to 40 minutes, required the tops pulled in 2 knots, it was fun too. Tomorrow winds 8 to 10 out of the North, I'll head back to the beach to play! Good winds and good flying. PS. I got my snaggless conversion complete, bottoms only, and did not snag once today.

.....and so the journey begins. Have fun, smile, don't forget to breathe.

I don't have pictures of them all but 26 kites were finished in 2018. No kites from tails this year. all from either RSN or Icarex. A few meshes and a couple of very unique attempts at doing something new. I'm not counting the one I considered failures that became flags. I'm blogging it here to keep from blasting out the gallery.. You seen probably most of these pictures before.

Lam has a new sul bridle for the AC.Told him my situation. That's what he said to get. That's what's coming.Colors are his choice.Rather have something inspired by the artist/master than dictated by me.Take me another week or more to make up my mind anyways. Then I'd probably 2nd guess myself. Now the agony of waiting for the kite begins. So much more pleasant 😁. The trick lessons taught today were awesome. Couple things I've struggled at have become clear. Think I might have developed a man crush OMG!!! Going to go practice before I forget.Benson SF standard is at the top of the list for next kite. NO MORE SHOPPING until the SF is acquired. That's the plan anyways 😟.
