  1. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way. Djinn XT from Kite Forge, $405 value, in HOT FADE! == Full info - https://kiteforge.com/djinn More videos - https://kiteforge.com/videos/ This package includes a Hot Fade XT (EXTRA VENT) sail, Mystic 18 frame and a kite sleeve! NOTE: This is exactly the same Djinn XT configuration that I fly myself - no special mods needed, it's already a boss right out of the bag... We should be able to ship from existing inventory when a winner is drawn, worst case will be 2-4 weeks for restock (depending on color choice). You can sign up here. Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/416, and will be drawn on Feb 1st, 2022! Our thanks, and the very best to you... Let the drooling begin!

  3. I has been over a year since I've told any tales about our kite flying. There are various reasons - the pandemic kept us closer to home, the weather didn't cooperate, had other things to keep me occupied and I was just too lazy to sit done and write. So I'm going to try and pick it up again. https://wp.me/pdXwt-Ki

  8. Here's what we were flying back then -- I'm the guy with the Canadian Flag Rainbow Stunt Kites -- This stack was the last custom job that Steve Edeiken started before he passed away -- his wife Cindy Edeiken finished the stack and brought them to Columbus to me -- Hope you can see the picture -- had to resize it down from 10 mbs to under 3 -- Thomas Kowalchuk in Sooke, British Columbia, Canada Whiffenspit@Gmail.com

  9. Stunt Kites back then -- Flexifoils, Rainbow Stunt kites, Trlby's, Hawaiians, Hyper Kites -- these are the Stunt Kites that started it all plus major competitions -- as for inflatables -- Doug Hagaman Parafoils were the best -- those were the golden years of kiting !

  10. It is all ripstop. I have a lot of black and red (I worked mostly in black/red/white). I would hate to guess as to total yardage, over 100, but ??? It has been so so long since I had it on rolls to work with. Most of the shorter carbon is 1800/2200 with the Avia silk screen. Oddly the most expensive thing are the longer, larger carbon rods for large format single lines. I remember working with Kurt to get them, heck most of the APA fitting bags have his writing on them. Miss him and his imagination.
