  8. Well said. You should be able to see the general proportions there? End of the day, ANY kite by Revolution needs the top lines to be longer whether your style likes more gas or more neutral power... Extension is irrelevant on the bottom, the top will go in or out to reach either tuning extreme. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  9. Yep, that last one is my old teammate from iQuad, Steve de Rooy... He's awesome. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app

  11. Thanks to you! Keep enjoying the process, in any case. Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  12. Added Reed Designs' links for competition maneuver animations - although they're not tutorials, trying and learning compulsory maneuvers is highly instructional.
  13. Found / added YouTube links to some pretty good 3D trick animations by "allikabi".
  14. Found / added a YouTube link to several individual tutorials from one of the Prism DVDs.
  15. Added Rob Randolph's tutorial for the Comete trick.
  16. &$%@#. Fixed now, thanks Guy! Sent from my iPhone using KiteLife mobile app
  17. All good, not going anywhere - fly on.
  18. Starting this topic to assemble a fairly comprehensive list of all the video tutorial resources available online related to 2 string / dual line / stunt kite / sport kite flying... The list below is somewhat categorized by variety of knowledge, ideally getting more robust and eventually more complex as you work your way through. Kite Loft - Fundamentals as taught by kite store staff. Hosted by MonkeySee.com Dodd Gross - Fundamental and freestyle trick tutorials. Dodd's YouTube channel DVD - Flight School (no link) DVD - Flight School II (no link) DVD - Flight School III (no link) DVD - Flight School IV: More Tricks (YouTube) Prism Kites - Fundamental and freestyle trick tutorials. The Way To Fly Advanced Way to Fly Misc tutorials (YouTube) Reed Design - Animated practice / competition maneuvers (flight paths). International Rule Book (IRBC) for team, pairs and individual Stunt Team Competitive Kiting (STACK) for team, pairs and individuals Randy Greenway (aka RandyG) - Freestyle trick tutorials. Archive on Kite Clique RandyG on Vimeo Mama74 - Freestyle trick tutorials and studies (repeated examples). Mama74 on YouTube Rob Randolph Comete tutorial (YouTube) allkabi - 3D animations of trick maneuvers. Fractured Axel (YouTube) Flap Jack (YouTube) Roll Up, Half Lazy, Unroll to Fade (YouTube) Trick Sequence 1 (YouTube) And some added info (non-tutorial) Trick List (not complete) I'll likely reorganize as time goes on, but please feel free to add anything you've found in a reply and I'll add it to this lead post if I think it fits into what I want to end up with, otherwise it'll stay part of the discussion here - thanks!
  19. Carry on!
  20. We're pleased to yet again announce the next prize being given away to our most appreciated supporters, the Kitelife Subscribers... For roughly 10 cents per day they play a major role in keeping KL growing in every way. B-Series STD, roughly a $350 value! This package includes a sail, 2 wrap and 3 wrap frames, adjustable handles, DVD and kite sleeve! NOTE: Primary color of the kite in this drawing is RED and BLACK with BLACK CENTER, on a FULL SAIL (as pictured)... This is regular (factory) model, it is not a Pro by Bazzer, but will still provide excellent flying for whoever wins this. You can sign up here. Odds of winning for this prize is currently 1/350, and will be drawn on May 25th, 2016! Our thanks, and the very best to you... Let the drooling begin!
  21. Fun. Try shifting your point of focus while flying, just as an experiment... Instead of "flying the kite", consider the idea of "flying the center panel". This mental shift gradually moves your point of control inside the engine of the kite part of the time, and has a tendency to both make your inputs more efficient and cause the kite to fly straighter when doing straight lines.
  22. Vocabulary is expanding.
  23. 1099, good sir.
