  1. Aww well at least the rods didn't completely shoot through the sail and completely destroy it , but flying with your son is totally worth the experience
  2. It is fun though with trial and error, especially when you r successful
  3. I think bridles should be preset for people to have no frustrations, that kind of stuff can sadly turn off first time flyers . It sucks, though it's inexpensive it can be frustrating
  4. you want to make three perfect triangle points , from leading edge toward center t should be bout an inch below t and half inch below and before center t .. from below t and to upper leading edge should meet bout inch beyond upper leading edge, and from center t and upper leading edge should come bout an inch or less . You want bridle points to make pyramids when you lay them down toward leading edge
  5. Sometimes it can be impossible if the the wings and keel the bridle come off are off even by micrometers
  6. It all about the wind your flying in, the weight of your kite, the pitch you adjust the bridle at, the strength of line you attaching, and trial and error, .. it all is between the thumb and pointer finger, it is a great feeling when you grasp it
  7. I got bridle lines if you need, how big is kite your experimenting with and what pitch are you trying
  8. Of course I would think the line sets would work unless you have a huge difference in wind ranges for the kites
  9. Cool , that helps, it looks like volksquad, are they harder to fly?
  10. Hey wind warrior thank you for saying there's no stupid questions ....you just made me feel better, my whole life I have always told people there is no such thing as a stupid question!! You are awesome!!!
  11. Cool, I think it is so interesting to see what different designers have presented throughout the yearsI I have been captivated since being a kid in 1997. I would love any input to differences if the flight style of the quads with different frame styles from different designers I met tc once and adore the innovation he presented ,, were his kites as a quad , , precisely different? By the way in1997 I was maybe 17 And along with you guys I will always be a kid !!! Right!!!
  12. Or hq m quad, which I have but have never flown , hahaha , I got one but have trouble launching, I would hate to smash a classic Anyone out there ever flown an hq m quad, I would love some lessons!! Lol
  13. Yes, revs are along the top, volksquad go through the center and then through the sail to center, have you ever seen that one, I have seen volksquad but never flown, It was a later twin of a spirit quad?
  14. So more like a volksquad? Sounds like fun
  15. Do the rods sit different on the sail from others? What makes the rod location and bridle setup different Hopefully I not asking stupid questions
  16. It kinda looks like different version of m quad or volksquad, do spars go through the sail?
  17. Tc ultra is a classic dual to quad adventure I not sure but most quads follow the flat plane, unless you go foil
  18. Very cool, what winds were you flying in,... did lights add weight, did you have you change line pounds according to wind speed, was that a battery pack or individual lights? I would love to know, I was flying on beach couple weeks ago and lights were flashing red and blue. Hahaha some of my officer friends came down to beach to c what was goin in, Bs light clips were working great, and I've tried led poster packs and Christmas lights ... any suggestions of what you like
