  2. You haven't your cool😁, carry on🙏
  3. I've also seen handels instead of handles[emoji2369][emoji28]
  4. So cool my video gave you some impetus to go out and try, that’s the great thing about the kite community we inspire each other. As to the spelling I live in the UK, the word axle, “the original, Middle English word for axle was axle-tree, which came from a combination of the Old Norse word oxhull and the old English eax, both of which mean “axis”, or “line around which the body rotates”. As opposed to Axel which is a real old religious name, meaning “father is peace”. Spelling differences come up all the time in the kiting world, differences in language worldwide, I will keep spelling it “axle”. It’s all for the love of kites🙏🧡
  5. I started my quad journey with an SLE on 80ft lines, self taught for my first 3-4 months until I found this site. I've owned revs, phoenix, bazzer eyes along with a few others, I found most started to fall apart within 3-4 months usually problems with the leading edge, I now just have my Djinns and have off loaded everything else. I'd say definitely watch and study all the Kitelife tutorials, setup and demantle everything the same way each time, will cut down on problems for sure eventually you'll find your own way. If you can find others to fly with cool, that's a rare situation for me I'm pretty much a solo flyer, plenty of online resources to get you going. Enjoy your journey for me it's a real source.
  6. A recent flight I had at Sunbiggin tarn, Cumbria, UK, enjoy. Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  7. While not as indepth as some tutorials, I put some split screen in there so you can see kite and hands, hopefully it helps enjoy, Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  8. Hi br1Ck, Dunstable downs would be a good location for you, I think there's people pretty regular up there at the weekends, and I'm sure they would be more than happy for to try some different kites.
  9. Unfortunately that video got deleted from youtube, it's about somewhere on social media, I'm happy that you had some inspiration from it, the great thing about the kite world we all inspire each other. Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  10. Thankyou, wind was probably 10-20mph and it's pretty turbulent everytime at that location, it's a pretty big hill with lots of layers, 30ft lines my favourite👍.
  11. Thanks riffclown[emoji120] Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  12. All those rocks are limestone, there like huge shelves folk call them limestone pavements. Axles rising yes it was pretty windy, the Djinn seems to do that more than any other quad I’ve had(maybe JB can spread more light on why) my guess is because of the belly in the sail, thanks for taking the time out to watch👍
  13. My new video, if you swing by and have a watch and like what I do consider subscribing to my youtube channel, be much appreciated[emoji120] [/url] Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  14. View Advert Revolution Supersonic. Kite and sleeve only, selling my supersonic it doesn't get to fly, there's someone out there that could give it a great home. Not sure how much it was flown by the previous owner not a great deal, I've probably had it out a dozen times in three years, Really not a million miles off being new to be honest. Want anymore photos let me know, price £120, nearly third of a price of a new one, you pay the postage on top of the asking price so I'll post anywhere. 16. Let’s see if I can answer all of that😅, current focus flic-flacs in the different clockwork orientations, which for me with the Djinn bridle they seem harder especially inverted (I like a challenge), clarity of shapes with rotations, always focusing on keeping that leading edge straight to direction of travel. Mainly I’m a solo flyer even more so with this COVID, things are easing slowly, so most of my inspiration comes from content on social media, SPI flying with team Kitelife in January made me more precise overnight not sure how. I revisit some of my old videos that’s all I can compare myself with. Then I have a few favourite videos probably top of that list is the Djinn release video, so much flight control in that video. As for kite models the only quads I fly are Djinns they are the ones that make my hairs stand on end. For me they make it feel new every time I go out. Difficulties yes those clam rolls🤬😳😅, JB has helped me out with those (and many other things🙏) I owe him a lot. New projects, I’d like to get back to some team flying, I’m missing the people I’ve met over the last 3-4years. And just getting out there and flying when something funky happens see if it can be replicated who knows what’s next, hungry with anticipation for the future.

  18. Hi Fubar, I'm in Cumbria bit of a distance, on Sundays there are flyers that meet up at Dunstable Downswhich is not far from you and a great field, theres two line and four line people there, see if we can get you some contact. Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  19. There’s quite a few quadline flyers in the area, I’m only 1.5hrs away, definitely look up Northern kite group, St.Annes Ainsdale not far from you all places people regularly fly, just need to wait for this covid to disappear.
  20. I just leave my lines on the winder or handles to dry I've never had an issue, bear in mind when the sail gets wet it will need more wind.
  21. I’m usually on the 2nd knot out, if I’m flying dog-stake or team the 3rd knot calms things down, pretty sure you should have four knots on all of those.
  22. I'm taking this route to, as I believe I don't have any insurance outside of events at the moment. Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  23. What was the conclusion, did you manage to sort insurance or find any more information? Sent from my SM-G973F using KiteLife mobile app
  24. If your only buying one why not buy a Djinn, I believe the wind range to be far bigger, just my thought I'm sure others will chime in soon, whatever you choose enjoy.
