the slack line tricks are easiest, at least for me, in about 3-5 mph, when the kite will fly no problem, but is easy to stall, they take a lot of work, but once you get it, it is soo fun

for younger kids you will want something durable and that won't pull much at all. I would suggest the beetle by I think it's made by flying wings. It's pretty inexpensive and nearly indestructable.

ok very first kite was a plastic blue angle dual line kite. Flew it one day in 15mph winds and it had too many holes to fly the next day and that is when I figured I needed to pay more than 4 bucks for a kite.

Well I was going to try novice at berkeley but when I went to register it would have been to late so oh well, It'll give me time to make a killer routine for ocean shores I got a sweet song the other day, so I've been thinking of what to do with it. so hopefully it will be better than the brookings demo cuz that was 100% made up on the fly. huh.. for some reason they won't play on my computer, I tried downloading them and that went good, but for some reason the .mpg file says it can't play in quicktime player. I have the latest version, could one of you fellow mac users help me out please.

Don't worry the Kite is completly assembled, You just need to put the spars into the right spot, they are all cut to size. It's very simple probably take you a couple minutes at the most to have it flight ready. ya the Rev 1.5 SLE is a great kite to learn on. I've never flown a spirit though so I can't compare them but I do like my rev's. Your plane is awesome by the way.

hey thanks everybody, i havn't decided on what i want to do yet. im sure ill go to college, probably next year, but take some classes at the community college this year. for my grad gift im planing on just saving all the money i get and then buying a mac. ive wanted one for soo long. ya parents are cool with me staying for awhile but if i do get kicked out ill go crash with john... .... i mean ill look after your place when your at kite comps. lol j/k but yay now i got more time to fly and have fun. so ill see you all soon. peace out

Well I completely uninstalled firefox and quicktime, then got the newest versions of both, it still didn't work, so i went to a firefox fourm, and found a thread about someone with the same problem. So I did what they did. I went into the firefox program files and manually deleted the quicktime plugins and Success!! for some reason the automatic plugins caused the problem, Horray, now I don't need IE any more. Thanks for your suggestion though Rob, i appreciate it .

I'm using windows XP and the quicktime works fine with internet explorer, it used to work with firefox too but it just stoped for some reason.
