  1. It probably won't kill you but you may hurt quite a bit after a hard days work, don't forget you hard hat
  2. I like techno, and movie soundtracks, but sometimes classic rock is good, maybe some rap here and there doesn't hurt either i jam with my iPod and big headphons. the sound quality of them are great, and they keep you ears a little warmer on cold days. lol
  3. Team iQuad is rolling with 120' lines and rev 1.5's std and vent, maybe 1's if it's super low wind.
  4. hey if you're free this weekend come down to crescent city, CA northern cali. me and john will be down rasing hell with the Windchasers. can't wait
  5. yes you can do it with a dual line, I've done it once, it's weird. you can dogstake any kite I would imagine, even a single line, lol

  13. Yup I should be at Seaside, I look forward to meeting you. Will you be at Ocean shores this weekend, or long beach next week?
  14. ya exept john animated his own, the others are mine.
  15. Umm the total time to make the kite from measurments, to cutouts, to cutting and finally sewing took somewhere around 4 days. but that was the first quad we've built so we had to learn how to make it, the next one probably 2 days cuz we already have the cutouts so just picking colors and cutting materal is a sinch. to learn how to make a kite I dono my dad started by just making tube tails for his kite now he has around 5 nice single line kites to his name, plus this quad, and a dual liner. If you have any questions I'll run 'em though him and answer as quick as I can, plus I'm sure there are several quality kite makers in this forum as well. We won't bite.
  16. dear god those are long, careful not to impale someone standing behind you, or stab your leg.
  17. I just don't feel comfortable painting something onto a kite. Just would rather do applique and make it all profesh. plus cutting out different pannels is easier than one huge one. and there would be stiches in the middle of teh kite, so may as well just give it different colors
  18. This a Rev 1 that my awesome dad just finished up. I helped out when I could. This is the standard, soon to come are the vented and UL in the same color combo, The'll be looking soo hot. The blue looks a little lighter in the pic, they actually look like the blue in my sig.
  19. no no feel free to give john as many "surprises" as you can, Then the rest of us will stand a chance.
  20. That has got to be the coolest way to find a kite I've ever hear of. I sure hope it works.
  21. you could download a 30 day trial of macromedia fireworks. go to www.macromedia.com it'll redirect you to adobe which now owns macromedia i guess. and click on the macromedia studio 8 trial, It'll give you a list of programs that come with studio and fireworks is the one you want, flash is a good animation one, and dreamweaver if you wanna try making websites. but remember you only get a 30 day trial, unless you want to buy teh $1000 software. I used fireworks to make my lil rev guys at the bottom of my posts, and the ones you can post in the forum, and a non animated version of johns lil one.
  22. That looks really nice. I would just suggest that the vertical scrolling text "star wars style" should move a bit slower. but nice work
  23. ya that was freakin HOT!!!
  24. I still fly my good old babytana, from hq? i got it like 8 or 9 years ago a little after I started flying, I pretty much learned how to fly a kite on ten foot lines either indoors or out in my yard, my 20' by 40' yard surrounded by trees.
