  4. Incidental googling. That's how I found out about Revs. I literally owe a lot to JB and the B2 release clip. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  10. Congrats, I'm a little jealous. I guess I'll have to buy a Kymera. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Is it "today" in the US yet...? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. I felt an actual breeze while it was loading...
  13. Flying figures my hands are in front about mid stomach. When I am doing, and by that I mean loosely, tricks my hands are lower and almost either side of my hips. I found having my hands in front for figures was easier for me to go back to the neutral position out of a turn. Still working on less is more though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I have that Symphony Beach and it is truly fun for everyone. There is even a review in the reviews section here. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Glad to hear. Tim's kites are some of the best in the world. I will have at least 5 one day... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. What colour did you get? I've always liked the Inferno red. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. My wife got this exact meter as an early birthday present and I got it today. I have been measuring pretty much everything. One nifty thing is it has a backlight that can be activated for a short time for those "after dark" activities... BTW, it was 5-27km/h at my park at 4:15am this morning. Gotta love an Easterly ripping done a hillside... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Tails. Get one with tails. Kids love them. Also slows the kite down when the wind gets up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. Sweden has info the best kite makers around in Jörgen from Sport Kite Design. My suggestion is get in touch with him and explain what your after. Yes his stuff is high end BUT he used to offer a trade in scheme and may still have some second hand kites. A top end kite even second hand is worth the money. Or even ask is he has some prototypes for sale. If it is possible to meet up with some other flyers and fly their kites, that would give you a better feel for the ones you click with. Haven't flown any of the suggestions but I'd go for the Widow as I think it looks the best of the bunch... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Bump, I should be keeping quiet really. Come to papa. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Curse geography!!!!!!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  22. Wrists more, arms less. Once this gets in, it makes a lot of sense. I was way over inputting when I started but once deprogrammed that out, it has been much more pleasurable experience. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  23. My 2 eldest kids started on a 1.4 meter square foil at 5 years old and essentially flew it after a couple of minutes instruction. The only times I had to help them was to restart it when it "fell" out of the sky during a lull. My daughter started flying revs at 8 and can fly but isn't interested in tricks. All 3 kids (3,6 and 9 now) will fly a SLK for a while, giving slack and making it dance. Start off with a "best flyer" single line and get a small foil dual line too. As they learn to crash less, go on to a stick framed kite. I try to fly as a family, which can be frustrating at times but ultimately very rewarding. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. I've subscribed to your YouTube channel, finally, so I'll definitely catch that. I can wrap a dual but the roll bars sometimes are a pain. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. Come to me my pretty.... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
