  1. That colour scheme really looks good against the sky. All spelling mistakes courtesy of Autocorrect. Damn iPhone.
  2. Oh, by the way Baloo. It's SparkieRob SR....ahem. All spelling mistakes courtesy of Autocorrect. Damn iPhone.
  3. Different angle then; We all know how Stacks attract a crowd. Just think how many of my fellow Aussies I could temp to kiting with a B2 Tripple Stack! Now that is money in the bank. Just send it to me now and I'll convert the masses! 977....977....977....977.... All spelling mistakes courtesy of Autocorrect. Damn iPhone.
  4. I won't let the RNG derail me from my kite plan..... .....but any little diversions are welcome! 977 All spelling mistakes courtesy of Autocorrect. Damn iPhone.
  5. Trying to unfairly influence the RNG, now come on RR, that is a bit below the belt. In fact if I thought it might make any difference I would call for your disqualification from this draw. At least I wasn't included! All spelling mistakes courtesy of Autocorrect. Damn iPhone.
  6. Mind games with the RNG hey. Not forgotten, just no point bantering with myself. I do enough of that at work.... Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  7. Touché, and well played. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  8. Does the "s" in https mean that it is a secure site? Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  9. Hey RNG, If I were to get this kite, I would then have to get the mid vent to round out a set (already have the Std) thus pumping vital dollars back into the kiting community, and community at large. Not to mention 2 countries postal services! See if I win, it could help out national debt! 977 977 Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  10. Another "thing" to add to my To Do list.. probably do a triple stack as that would look cool. But it's a bit down the kiting line ATM. I've seen a you tube clip of a bloke called Dan who flew a 2 stack of Blast 4~8's! Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  11. Outwardly: No that's silly. Inwardly: Crossed my mind a few times. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  12. Mmmmm, tried that combo last week. Very sweet! Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  13. Just one.... ....of each model... .....in each colour.... There that should do it! Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  14. A spot of kitesurfing down at Cott (a really popular beach in Perth) could be on the cards this summer.... Pssst RNG.....977 Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  15. I'll go out and fly again! Any excuse will do. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  16. If I had a dollar for every time I heard that..... Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  17. Until I got a vented, I used my B2 instead. Talk about having to refine your inputs. High winds, twitchy kite and a relative noob with ham hands. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  18. Or you mate! Thank you. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  19. Congrats Ron, she looks a beauty. Wayne, I was only half serious about venting an indoor.... but if the venue had the air conditioner on...... Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  20. Sky was a little overcaste but wind was great here, Western Australia. Took the kids, 7 & 4, out and gave them a go on my SLE. Put up my little foil for them so we could fly together. Also gave away a little dualie delta to a kid cause his kite's sail was rotten to the point of unflyable. That felt good! Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  21. Can you burn some vent holes in an Indoor? C'mon just kidding! 977 This would be perfect for those balmy summer days we have here in Oz. Imagine people flipping out as they see me flying a kite when there's no wind. Blow their minds! 977 977. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  22. A JB Vented with 4 wrap and 3 wrap LE is stated to go to 40 mph! But that's more XTRA territory. When the race rods go it is just as you said, kind of an explosion. I've done 3! If your out in higher winds, what I do is start as far into the wind side of park as I can and walk with the kite. Once I reach the end, I practice low hovers to gain back that ground. I fly inland so USUALLY the ground wind isn't too bad. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  23. Still looking for some. Having to start my own "Revolution" in Perth. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  24. I fly by myself, aside from the kids watching, and I'll grab my 80's first every time. I'm going to cut down a set of 80 into 30 and 50 for lighter wind work and to start practicing 3D stuff. IF you were to cut down your 120's a good multiple would be 85 and 35. If the 120's aren't doing it for you, chop them to a friendlier length. Do you have 2 sets of dual lines of the same shorter length to have a go on to see if you like that? Might be worth a shot before chopping. There is always more line... Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  25. Pete, it's called "Scratching the surface" and it's a Kitelife video. Basically it's JB making something hard look really easy in an arty way... Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
