  1. CLAP! CLAP! CLAP! Absolutely awesome job! Great flying, great film and effects, great music! You just keep raising the bar. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  2. When your Rev bow ties, it is because too much brake input is applied to one wing and the wind gets underneath and pressurizes the back. That is, too much thumb toward the kite. It sometimes happens to me when I'm mucking around inverted. Extra lift, thumbs back, shouldn't contribute as the leading edge is into the wind. A race frame doesn't have a specific wind range as it varies to which type of sail it's in. It fits in between a 2 wrap and a 3 wrap. Hope this helps. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  3. Wind was up so after work took my B2 to the park, set up and was happily flying when.... .... a Magpie (smaller than a Crow and black and white in colour) decided my kite was invading its breeding ground! It was trying to swoop and attack my kite. They are very territorial in Spring as its breeding season. Needless to say it was fun just staying out of its clutches for a solid 10 minutes. I then walked my kite to the other side of the park out of its way. It just stood on the ground keeping an eye on me for the rest of the time. Crazy but cute birds. Rob. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.

I have a torch in my pocket for all afternoon flying as I've had the "lights" turned off on me a couple of times. Welcome and good winds to you. Rob. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  14. Hey JB, if you sign the kites will that make them signature Signature Series's? ;-) Now must go and get my "tickets" in. Done. Gotta be in it to win it. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  15. Don't think of it as "one speed" reverse as this isn't the case. Reverse is essentially the same as forward but due to the shape and construction of the wing it doesn't have a congruent surface to move the wind. Too much reverse can cause the wind to catch the sail either side of the vertical rod and load the back side of that wing. You can vary your reverse speed but it takes practice. I'm still learning the "oops too much" point. Rob. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  16. Yeah mate, most common cause is too much reverse. Kind of a half wing flic flac! Careful about getting a wing wrap, that is where the bottom line wraps around the bottom of the vert end cap. Have you let out your top leaders? That makes the kite a bit more stable. Rob. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  17. Could you tell me mine too please? Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  18. As long as your subscription is paid up, you're in it. Good luck. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.

  21. Don't worry mate, it's just one if those things. I'm a rev flyer and a lone flyer too. I have an opposite bag to you, a few revs with a Dualie thrown in to mix it up (and a little foil but apparently I'm just "holding it" for my little girl!!). Rob. Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
  22. You don't want to know the Aussie translation of that! ;-) Rob Sent via Tapatalk for iPhone.
