In my bag, I have an exp, 1.5, std B, pro std, mid, fv, and xtra. Shook 100%, Trifinity, Reflex, NYM std, B2, and a homemade rev. About 6 sets of handles and linesets, (have more linesets, but they need repairs) a Rev simulator, Rev banner with pole, wind meters, led night kite, buffs, 5 stakes, and a few other assorted items. Damn thing is heavy.. Lol.

Well, I for one happen to love my Reflex. It flies in little to no wind. Flew it on 15" handles with 120's last night in under 5mph winds, and it flew like a dream. I can see an added benefit of being able to use the other frames we have already. Sent from my SM-G900V using KiteLife mobile app

Wayne, are you sure about the rods? I was told by my favorite kite shop owner that they didn't come with a frame. Maybe he was confused? I've never heard of a kite not coming with a frame.

Yeah, it's gone. But, it will return soon, but at a different location.

I really like my Tri with diamonds. It's my go to when the winds are under 5. I think the Detox is the same thing right? Just a different pattern.

I noticed on my Shook there's tabs at the fold points so there's no mesh to rip. Brilliant idea, not sure why all my Revs don't have that.

I've never heard of a " spine " either. Seems to me if the rods were meant to go in a certain orientation or direction, they'd be labeled as such.

I spoke to Lolly about a month ago and I asked her about the green label rods. She told me that all rods made starting in 2016 have the new labels. She said nothing is different except for the label. I do know when Diamonds came out, and they were supposed to be lighter than Race, yet my Diamond frame weighed almost 3 grams heavier than my Race frame. I have weighed different frames, same wrap, and get different weights. There doesn't seem to be much QC in the rod dept at Rev. Don't get me wrong, I ABSOLUTELY LOVE all my Revs, just wish there was consistency in the rods.

Those look nice, I like that!! You could still put the black rubber end cap on the handle ends. It would hide everything and clean it up nice.

Why not just get an authentic set from here in the states and get them a lot quicker? And support a kite shop in your region. But to answer your question, from just looking at the pictures, any of those sets will work. Except the carbon fiber ones, they're sold out.. Lol

I've done that before, I believe it's like mentioned above, larkshead was on the other side of the knot. I've also done it on a slk, a big one, flying over water. Didn't realize until I walked it down there was no larkshead, only a loop snagged on the knotted leader of the kite.. Hahaha Definitely got lucky on that one! I didn't order it, I bought it from my buddy at Kewl Kites in Long Beach Ms.

I only checked it out on mobile, but it looks like Rev is modernizing their website. Good for them, it's about time.
