Rev 1.5 B -series sail only ..cheap
tkrinor replied to tkrinor's topic in Kites for Sale, Swap or Trade
Sorry folks I was thrown a curve ball on this one. I had to think it out. I have been slammed at work. It got put on the back burner until evenings so I would to have time think a bit. I posted "sold" to let folks is was no longer available one way or another, in hindsight should have posted no longer available. I knew it was gone one way or another from the posts and the pms but had not decided which offer etc. Carlos, if you sent me a pm I deleted it by mistake. I can't accept your offer as i had better offers soon after yours was posted. Mark I would have accepted your offer but received a pm from someone else that I had to think about, around the same time. It looks like the kite will be involved in sort of a trade. A bit of the spirit of kiting involved rather than the just $. The kite is no longer available. Sorry about the delayed response and thanks for your patience. It something would change I will PM to see if anyone is still interested. -

Thank your for the info! -
Beat up sail with non matching vent patches (done with glue) I'm sure it is pretty stretched, but it flies fine. Sold. Thanks

The sail only has a few hours on it and is in excellent conditions. Some minor fraying on the end of the leading edge. It is black and purple with the black center panel. $155 Thanks

I have that radio, So this is appears to be perfect. I would like to be set up this summer. I don't have a need by date. Thanks for looking into it!

That would be exactly what I am looking for. I don't have a clue on how to go about making one, even with the schematic. I can barely get my headphones plugged in correctly.

I don't have the knowledge, skills, tools, time nor the desire to learn for a one time project. Of course I am looking to compensate someone that has the time and skills to make me one. I am looking for one that we can mix music in. Thank you in advance for your consideration. T

I am sure I contributed to the little issues, and may well have been 100% on me. The washers that failed had probably 5 hours on them. Regarding the mesh tear, the kite was after it's second flight. I had stowed it away 1 time prior to noticing the 2 inch tear. As foolish as it seems I did not inspect the mesh prior to its maiden flight. On the flip side we have a total of 11 revs and 3 broken race rods that broke in the air and a few hundred out of control crashes. My disappointment is due to the fact that the issues have been a couple of newer kites that hadn't really seen battle. I have a few extras washers in the bag now that seem to be a different material from the ones that broke. The new one are like plastic that ones that broke were like rubber.

I am pretty unimpressed with quality of the product / workmanship as well. We have had two ferrules come loose. My third original "o" ring broke last week at the top of a vertical spar. We had a leading edge mesh fail, and of course the fraying on the end of the leading edge is a little over the top. I almost forgot, we have changed a bridle as well. Easy repairs but for the $ amount they want for the kites I expect better.

Wayne, Do u have indoor plans for May the 12th or 15th yet?

Wayne On an indoor Rev: Regarding tuning the lines.. what/where is neutral. What kite characteristics are you looking for? Is your kite tuned to neutral? Why is the tuning made at the kite instead of the handles? Thanks
