  1. Now I understand, Nick, why you label top/bottom and left/right. if you are disconnecting the handles from the line, you would need that information to keep from having a mess when you reconnected the handles.. I never disconnect the handles from the line, so I don't have that issue.
  2. From the album: Revs

Ever had one of those days when the wind is such that you just can't decide which one to fly?
  3. Untwist your lines at the handles. When you pick them up things will get a little more clear. We've all been there. It just takes time.
  4. Should look like this when you hold it from the attachment points http://kitelife.com/forum/gallery/image/5179-/
  5. The left side is not correct. The loop hanging down on the left side in your picture is the one that needs to be attached to the end cap to make it look like SkyPuppets
  6. Yeah, that's not right. It looks to me like the wrong loop is attached to the end cap. I don't know that a new bridle will help. If it wasn't 6 or so hours I would drive down and help out.
  7. I had never noticed this thread, JB. Thanks for bumping it. Great insight into some recent kiting history.

My favorite feature on a couple of my Revs. The Shook signature doesn't stink either.
  9. It's a nice kite that flies well. It just don't have a hole in my bag that it would fill.
  10. Whump: The act of loading the sail of a stunt kite with fun
  11. Even when you don't have the flu
  12. He was using the vertical spars, he just had them installed in front of the sail instead of behind. Still all the love, JB
  13. But if you get it wrong, you can always take heart in the fact that our fearless leader nearly abandoned revs because he was setting them up wrong and they subsequently flew like pigs. All the love, JB
  14. None that I am aware of. Might make one with an old school feel on my present bike.
  15. I can't wait to see yours, Scott!
  16. Just once you should try flying in the falling snow. As my friend Dayhiker has described so accurately, it's like you are flying when you can see the wind.
  17. Rob, the blue no snag words in the first post are a link to the instructions and some pictures. Here are a couple pics of a finished handle. The blue heat shrink covers the interface between the adaptor and the handle end. There are some edges at that interface that could potentially cut the line.
  18. Thanks! Those are mine. I Designed them and had them machined. It costs me about $16.50 a set (2) at the moment. We are working on lowering the fabrication cost to try to get that to the $12 range. I only use them on the bottom since I've never snagged the top, and it's cheaper that way .
  19. Running a 360 is not on my to do list. I'll work on doing them cool and smooth like Scott.
  20. Just out of curiosity, who is interested in the handle adaptors?
  21. Nope, but you should go over and enter the karma drawing
