  1. It does have an appealing buzz. When I win your services for a weekend, we will spend a day on duallies before getting back to Revs.
  2. Paul, there is no doubt that you...and your kites...are one of a kind!
  3. Hi, Howard! That's a good looking dog in your avatar. I did not get to fly last week. My wife hurt her foot stepping wrong on a gravel path jogging last weekend and we had a sick rabbit. The snow did not stop me (neither did temps in the teens), but tending to the home issues did. In general, I've been getting a couple of sessions a week in. I think the coldest I've flown was 22F with 8mph winds. I fly at the park where she jogs, so it works out. My primary flying field is this one: http://www.kitemap.org/site-details?id=296&sname=AK%20Bissell%20Park%20at%20Oak%20Ridge%20Civic%20Center Kitemap is a great resource for finding fields when you are in unknown territory, and since they are put in by fliers you have a pretty good chance of running into a flyer when you are there. I've been wondering how much flying our friends from up north are getting to do this winter. It's been a rough one.
  4. Allergies to running lead me to fine tune my light wind techniques
  5. Woohoo, so cool! That green is gonna pop in the sky and making kites is one of my next adventures. Thank you windpoacher. PM sent. I will hopefully get my drawing up tomorrow. Gotta keep this karma rolling!
  6. Still haven't come down from my T.I. high!

    E-cigs ? Vaping ?

I can tell now in older hotels if the room has ever been smoked in. My poor wife's allergic response goes off if she's too close to someone with smoky clothes, forget about second hand.
  8. Love my Kymera even though I'm just a zoom around guy. No slack line really.
  9. New friends and old...new kites and old...collecting as many of both as I can this year.
  10. One of a kind I think. Cath Shook talked him into making that one.

    E-cigs ? Vaping ?

My wife is allergic to tobacco smoke. After 10 years on the cancer sticks and a couple of months dating, it was a really easy decision to quit, because she was the one. I used sugar free stick candy in place of cigarettes maintaining the same habits until eventually those faded back and I was really done. Coming up on 7 years! Good luck guys!
  12. How much money you want to raise to prove it?
  13. Flying loves you back, brother. Excellent video!
  14. Loving the articles I've seen so far. Keep rocking, Allen!
  15. Doesn't suck to win one, either (no, I'm not jealous at all)
  16. New fund raising idea: pick a number, once donations reach that amount we get a beer goggle JB video
  17. I hope you find one. I'm lead to believe that it is really fun.
  18. Less than 10 and the B2 is not the kite I'm pulling out of the bag anyways. It is a fun kite for its proper wind, though.
  19. Oh well, I hope you can get something going up there.
  20. There's also this site: http://www.caniflymykite.com/ The link came from this forum thread: http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/5322-personal-project-can-i-fly-my-kite/
