  1. hmmm the old peace pipe method of flying !!!!! i like it
  2. what exactly are you 2 doing in that 4th picture??
  3. A photo of my Hawaiian. The standoffs are made from hollow fiberglass rod size .261. Maybe try adding an end cap to the standoff or use smaller vinyl tubing. man looking at that reminds me of when i had mine.. same colors and all .. takes me back to the best times in wildwood back in the day
  4. that does suck .. i have lost a few kites to trees back in the day and of course nothing is worse that haveing a dog do it for you!!!! to me that kite looks like a small rok ... hard to tell really
  5. everytime i visis those kl vids .. i still love the 07 dual line vid of you john flying that SD doin some cool moves on the water
  6. ahh the oldskool all cloth supersonic i miss that one
  7. they are the best .. thght sail and that also have a sick side slide.. tha amazing part is that it gos from 70 mph to a dead stop in a split second.. if you really want some sick speed in a hurricane like wind the supersonic vented is a real nice one for that

very nice nc kiter.. that kite is looking better and better .. i t seems like it tricks like a dualie but is precice like a quad.. id like to see john b on this one just to be sure what it can really do..in the right set of hands i think this kite will do what no other can
  9. i was in the outer banks a few years back and i had mine up and flying nice .. the winds then picked up and getting it down was almost impossable.. it was the worst experence i had with it but the only one thank god .. the kites can be some work but well worth it
  10. welcome friend the b series is a great kite .. i like the speed series they are way fun .. i like kites that go fast.. i mostly fly the speed series when im solo .. the b series and my other 1.5 kites i usually fly when im with other people
  11. i have seen flowforms from 125 to 500 get launched by 1 person .. i have launched my ff by myself more then i have had help .. the trick is to put the kite in the peak of the window and hold the one side .. with a little shake of the arms the kite will inflate .. just make sure you have it anchored down good and you have a strong line on it.. once you let go youll have to be ready for anything .. it is hard to do a self launch as some will go good and others can get nasty.. when you do this ALWAYS WEAR GLOVES. just incase of anything of the nasty things like an anchor popping out or worse the kite takeing a dive ..

could this be true a freestyle quad that can do all the sick tricks you want it to???havent seen a video on it .. just wanted to see if anyone here knows about it http://www.kites4u.eu/index1.html once you see this one their are other 4 liners there too
  16. the cat eyes is a sweet one
  17. what i like about it is the fact that it lights up the whole kite nicely.. the downside that i see without flying it is that it looks like a heavy setup that will need a good breeze to fly it ..as many fliers here know the night time can mean low winds so im wondering if that setup would be a weight issue for the lighter stuff??as for my 2 cents on the whole thing i love it and i really hope you get it going my friend
  18. never flew those before would love to give them a try .. i love it when people other then myself stack kites .. it makes kiting that much better
  19. yea man that was cool i wanna try that i know a few people with jet skis.. i want to get one myself .probly when my son turns 4 as we want to go riding .. i used to have a few stand up skis back in the day they were a blast
  20. everybody does it .. once you break a rod your a true flier
  21. lucky dogs you all are.. i wanna come out there
  22. to have both kites is good .. the sprit for a great looking poser kite and the rev for when you really want to show some skills.. the sprit is a tricky kite as well but the rev is eazier to learn everything on
  23. the sprit is eazy to fly a great beginner kite that is extremely eazy to control .. the downside to the sprit is that to get it to fly to my standerds it took me a while to tune the bridle.. youll have to put in some work on that one other then that its a great kite looks wise .. as for the rev well that is the best of the 2 the rev is ready to go out of the bag and control its way more precice then the sprit.. i like the sprit because of the batwing design .. but top choise for control and good flying would be the rev 1.5 or b series
  24. Yo Antman, A UL Spirit Quad huh?? Well, check this out: http://kitelife.com/forum/index.php?showto...rt=0#entry18362 I mod my REV with P200 as well, it definitely works in lower wind range. i do have a indoor frame cut down to a 1.5 size and i do love the skyshark tapers as well .. the ss tapers do have more flex then the rev rods do but peform very nice .. out of the 2 i like the indoor skinnys the best for the 0 to 3 range any more then that the race rods do best.. the looks of that new sprit however is truely PIMP!!!im in the works for one of those
  25. has anyone seen this yet??pretty cool i think http://fracturedaxel.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=7284
