yea man i havent had a new SLK in a while..

try not to fly with your arms so stiff.. keep them low in front of you and relax you movements.. you do hav good control of the kite for winds at that range ... by the looks of things youll have it down in no time.. ive seen new fliers who have had their kites for months and couldn,t launch them off the ground.. the video looks great man ..

the rev 2 is a fast kite.. it has a light pull to it and you can fly it in heavy winds .. it also does ok in light winds too witch is good so you can learn how the kite works..you should go and get a 1.5 to get the basics down first.. that kite is eazier to learn on then the rev 2.. the rev 2 is a great kite to have otherwise .. good luck with it

right here in wildwood 5 minutes fromm the beach.. love it here and will never leave .. come on out here and see what i mean.. if you want to get people in your are start doing weekend flies like i do .. sunce i started doing it last year.. i got a nice group of fliers close by .. you ll be supeized .. it does work

man that thing is sweet... im getting my buggy all rebuilt for the sands as well ... soon it will be done

i was thinking .... with how big kite flying is getting espically with the sport kites both dual and quad .. im wondering if the current kite gear(shirts hats stickers etc) from the top names could ever hit the clothing stores like surf and skate gear have done.. think about it going to the local mall and getting a rev or prism shirt for example.. with this thought what are your imputs .. should the companies get the shirts in the stores other then cafepress or other online vendors???

just wanted to thank a friend of mine for this kite and wanted to show him the bridle i made for it .. the kite was made by harold ames .. and givein to me by paul lemaster.. i gotta say this one is a blast to fly .. it took me 2 hours to make the bridle and its so fast i get cross eyed looking at it but man what a fast and fun little kite .. the spins on it are sop fast it looks like a rainbow swirl its trippy looking .. thank you paul and i will fly this thing alot with the winds i get here it looks like a rev but is not one .. i love it.. im a BIG rev fan as you all know so dont think i sold out ha ha ha ha

so far i gotta say the last 2 days were a blast .. this rev clinic is the best ands i hope we can do it again soon .. im gonna be so sad after tomorrow is over but also releaved that i got to see some of my best flying buddies.. and im also looking to see all 9 i quad guys here in may.. john and steve d are great teachers ... i have learned alot this weekend .. .im so thankful that i know such a great group of people that took the time to come to my area and put on the greatest rev show in history..

went to the beach earlier and the winds are blowin 30+ im hopeing for a little less tomorrow for our free fly.. i am so happy this is here i just hope now that mother nature will give us the chance to go wild this weekend

both are good kites i never owned a pyro xs but have flown them and liked the way they fly.. to me ive had an addiction and it is a great controling kites .. a good bridle and sail but slightly too heave of a frame then what im used to.. i dont really know the pyro s specs .. but you wont go wrong with either

for the $50 dollar range the nexus or the beetle wil probly go for that .. both are great starter packages to get you into the basics of flying dual lines.. the addiction is another good 2 in one kite because its also a goos starter and when you get a little better it is a good kite to learn tricks on too

well as i said i have met and flown with alot of people .. thats why ive done it for so long..

yea i hear ya there i was going to plant a kite grave there but its now someones yard lol.. but seriously it does suck that my area is closeing in on big developments.. while i do have wildwood beach and a couple of ball fields that i get to use in the winter.. it has gone down a few times in the past 20 years.. i do have other good spots that ihave had great times in as well.. like wildwood back in the late 80s to mid 90s when the festivals had huge turnouts and the beachs all year round had kites everywhere.. in the 19 festivals ive been to i have see alot of great tallent come to my hometown.. fliers like lee sedwick, andy wardly, john sullo (a nj ny faveback in the day)paul lemaster, ben deantiono, hawaiian joe (a good friend of mine in the 80s that had a ton of hawaiians) jerry cannon and team cutting edge,dodd gross,andy seltzer,lam hoac. archie miller , pete dolphin, jose sainz, ron gaibian,bazzer, monkey , john b, steve d,scott skinner, phil broder,heck ive seen so many fliers come here i would be here all night typing all their names in this post.. it was times like these that i truely am glad i was able to see and fly with some of the greats in the kiting world.. and im lucky and blesseed to be near the best flying spot in the east lol

baloo.. i hear that man.. im glad aerochic brought up this topic as i sometimes take my self back to those fun days of flying .. when it was all about just putting a kite in the air and not haveing a care in the world as that is what being a kid is like in a way.. i just hope my son has those same type of memories as i had once hes gets a little older.. i did this back when i was 12 years old and man i still remember how much of a blast it was .. i just never knew id still be doing it to this day..

yea man those were the days.. now the old flying field has been built up and turned into a houseing devolpment.. i go by there once in a while and now its a momorial sopt for the birth of my kite flying adventures
