well my #1 favorate festival is comeing as you all know so who is ocomeing out to fly with me?? i cant wait to try the rev gamers this year
  2. site is up and running .. i knew john b wouldnt keep it down for long
  3. cool blast flying.. i gotta get my 3 pack in there for some video work
  4. the downbridles are the 2 white bridles that connect to the top and bottom bridles of the blast.. the help with changeing the pitch of the kite .. some fliers like them .. i dont use them .. youll have to fly it to see if you like them or not .. if not you can remove them
  5. stacking them is eazy .. make 5 lines at 5 feet long with loops on each end youll also want to make pigtails that attach to the kite so you can tie or untie the stack if needed.. for 3 kites youll need 10 stack lines and 20 pigtails.. all of the lines have to be the exact length.. once finished you might have to do some tuneing to it .. let me know if you need any extra help
  6. rob .. while i havent flown that kite yey .. other then mark,s prototype for a short while.. i never use prism bags for my kites . because of that reason .. once i put the LE,S together from the factory i leave it all on .. if the tensioners stretch out .. cut them off and replace them with shock cords .. you can makwe homemade kitebags out of anything like i do.. i have used cloth from all types of stuff .. even old t shirts.. if you have a sewing machine .. makeing kitebags are eazy ill tell you how i do it in 3 eazy steps.. 1.. with the kite folded up measure the length of the put together LE,S and add 2 inches to that length. 2.. cut the metreal untill you can roll it loosely around the kite and have the extra room to close the top... the result should be a big rectangle shape by this point.. 3.. fold the rectangle in half evenly,, and sew the outher edge from end to end.. finally fold one end of the bag over and sew the bottom closed .. then hot cut the top if you dont have the hot cutter then just cut the edge and with a lighter heat the frayed edges.. by this time once the bottom is sewed you see the bags pattern and you can put a kite in it.. to close the top you can use a piece of shock cord or rubber band.. this is a cheap and good way i like to make my own kitebags.. other fliers will have their methods but this is how i do it .. if you get confused on how to do it .. send me a pm..

  21. how about the summer 1994 issue with a few looks of kite water sports..pierre fabre was doing reasearch on that wipcat system.. and of course mel govig doing the 1st buggy blast at ivanpah lake bed in navada.. it just gets better and better .. great year for kites and one of the better issues i liked in the kitelines section
  22. well it will be posted on may 15th so ill have it just in time for wildwood ,s festival ha ha ha
  23. i seen those kites too a while back and reported them to john b .. rev im sure is aware of it.. he will be able to tell you better the i can.. now if you want a good rev power kite the blast or power blast are really nice to have for a hard pulling day of flying
  24. good video there john that weave is sick .. as well as the other move they do when they twist the kites inside that line.. all 6 sit in a line and 3 of the move therugh eachother.. that was cool.. i iquad thinking of any dual line routines??
  25. in time youll know what the kite is doing by feel .. little movements are the key really.. you have to just relax and lose yourself in the flying .. most new fliers that i ve seen always worry abouth crashing and get to tence .. with that it causes you to handle the kite like a mad man and all control is lost .. just remember take your time with every move .. a good rule is to do on move at a time .. it gets annoying after a while but at that point you ll have it glued in your head..
