  8. i have both 1 5 sul and 1 5 sle but the 2 wrap would be the way to go for putting that kite on a diet. for zero wind my indoor is king
  9. beleave it or not i learned on a shockwave it was the hardest thing to ever try but it was at the time the only kite my local shop had and i wanted a rev badly but i didnt know the speed and power it had untill i took it flying now i have a 1.5 sle blast exp indoor and a rev 1 all are great and i plan on getting my favorate rev for a beginner would be the 1.5 sle because once you get the hang of flying it youll have a better kite without haveing to buy another one
  10. Note : -both- bridle ties need to be fastened to the pair of vertical rods on each side, this may be your problem as I have run into 2 blasts so far where it was only attached on one vertical, each side. it'll make a huge difference to the control, promise. ive had my blast for 6 months and i flew it in a 14 mph wind once and never did it again i found it to be a great kite for the lighter winds almost an oversized ultralight i only pull it out when the winds are 2 to 5 mph i made adjustable leaders for it and they do control pull a little bit
  11. i checked the site and the sizes for the zero wind deca and great deca are both the same so i see what you mean ill have to find out the diffrence in sizes as for the shape i was thinking the same thing that i would break it but im not new to quad lines just to decas
  12. hello i have a go fly a kite paitrotic facet it has a double wishbone looking bridle that no matter what i do it wobbles all ove the place in flight the upper points are on the left and right and conect down into one pigtail that ties on the line its a weird setup but its the only facet out of the 4 i have that im haveing problems with. ive trobled shooted my other facets before with a few minor adjustments but for some reason this one is tough any help would be great thank you!!!!!!!!!!
  13. sheva sul prizm flash light prizm 3d prizm e2 prizm fanitic big bang dod gross obsession hq beamer 3.6 5.0 hq shadow flexifoil blade 4.9 flexifoil bullet 3.5 5.5 rev blast rev shockwave rev 1.5 vented rev exp primier trick and track opera 23 wren guideworks zerowind deca(new purchace yesterday) guideworks minergy 3 line pkd buster hq breeze rev indoor hq beast prizm nexus 8 pack(was a 5 pack) prizm micron 5 pack prizm quantom pro
  14. hello ken you should start with a small kites a flexifoil bullet 2,0 or hq beamer 3.6 are 2 i like for starters and if you dont have a buggy yet check your riding area if its hard pack then small tires will do but softsand or mud will require big tires see what kind of tires other buggiers are using when you get better a larger kite will be good for more speed and for flying in lighter winds then the smaller beginner kite will be good for a strong wind. one last thing if your not sure of the winds DONT GO RIDEING better safe then sorry!!!!!!!!
  15. ive dicovered a couple of fields where flying is possable here in nj both are school rec grounds in the summer theres no school so flying there is eazy but for smoother winds the beaches by my house are it that imagery sounds cool i gotta try it

  23. Note : -both- bridle ties need to be fastened to the pair of vertical rods on each side, this may be your problem as I have run into 2 blasts so far where it was only attached on one vertical, each side. it'll make a huge difference to the control, promise. ive had my blast and i flew it in high winds once and didnt like it. since then ive only flew it in a 3 to 6 mph range and the kite is a great flier in those speeds. i like using the outside settings on the bottom bridle and i use the down bridles for that better pitch. for heavier winds i use my shockwave or vented 1 5 i have home made handle leaders that help for smaller pull adjustments. but that wont do much in heavier winds
  24. whenever you get a kite of any kind rember to read the ownwers book and heavier kittes need more wind then lighter kites once you get some experence flying and buying kites youll know what you need and when you need it
  25. i got a set of light called ultra lights they are lights for a kite and they take aa batttery their site is www.ultra lights.com
