there is also a company called ultra lights that make kite lights you can find them at either www.windpowersports.com the have sets of 3 for $30.00 and are powered by a aa battery there much more then the wallgreens lights but are visable from a far distance

i tried dogstake flying for the first time today with my 1.5 i had it up for a while but i couldnt do anything fancy like in the john B video but ill get there hopefully john if your watchin killer video it looked eazy until i tried it the worst part was that people were watching me and i wasnt doing it good at all next time im going to a place where noone is at until i get good then i will go public with the fall season ill have plent of closed beach to do it

mabie you should try bugging or land boarding it might be better for your butt if not you can go to a sporting goods store and get some hip pads they might work i use a back brace when i go jumping with my blade 3 to prevent pulling my back out

adding knots on your brake lines will help with better control

the genisis does peform better then the ozone but the ozone does do tricks in light winds well the genisis has a lighter frame then the ozone

go to www.lytech wire.com and they have neon glow wire kites from 10 to 300 feet and they are powered by a 9 volt battery the setup is good if there is wind but not so good in a light wind ther are also magnet lights sold in any toy store the are lighter but can fall off sometimes also visit www.windpowersports.com they have lights too

sul kites are great for small areas where wind is not there but for the most part my local sports complex has a nice field and in SE wind the flying is the best because there is no tree line and theres a manmade drain field full of water it looks like a large lake and for some reason the winds get really good when they blow out of that area

well as long as you take the downbridles off the kite wont pull as bad

this might depend on what type of kite design you have a dual line quad line tri line or single lines and it also wil depend on how the designs look for example if on is a facet single line then you ll have to find a builder that specializes in that type of kite br ready to fork out some cash its not cheap to have a custom kite built good luck to you
