  7. love it penny i started on a blade 3 4.9 pretty insane but at the time i didnt think a small kite would pull me but now i got 3 smaller ones and they pull me well its also good for the winter months when i have miles of beach to buggy on
  8. il like prizm kites they are 1 of the best around ive met mark reed NICE GUY loved my nexus 8 pack. a nyway it sounds to me that you got a faulty line set im sure your shop has more line sets www.prismkites.com they have every model from beginner to expert
  9. slipping the sleeve is the right way just rember to put both lines on something straight you can use a ground stake but put in in the ground all the way to the head i have a setup in my back yard with a leveled pole their ary many things you can use but dont do it off the kite for the fact that the kite can move and you wont get an accurate reading
  10. avia sport or sky shark rods both hold up well i use them in all dual lines must86 is right stunters a fradgile and you will break rods run those names by your local kite shop they should have them in stock
  11. h have a big bang and love it ive only flown a jam a couple of times i like the bang better
  12. ive had plenty of good tangle ups as mad as they made me you just gotta rember it will cost you $50 for a new set so take the time to untangle. quad lines are the worst to get undone duals are eazier
  13. the beamer 3.6 is a great choise i have a 3.6 and a 5.0 both are good buggy kites another good kite is a flexi foil bullet
  14. depending on what you want to do at this party.. if your like me youll want something that will drawl a crowd you can get a wide slection of kites for under $100 deltas facets box kites dragons etc.. deltas are great fliers if you want to put them up and forget about them for a while facets a fancy snowflake style box kite are colorful and will get some feed back from your friends..
  15. the delta and ez flier are both good starter kites. they are light pulling for kids and it will give you both a good idea on how kites are flown the ez flier has a built in tail but a delta doesnt just rember if you choose a delta to get A TAIL for stronger winds ant to keep the kite more stable
  16. ive seen guys use kayaks with rudders built in it looked pretty fun to do i did hear of peter lynn making a buggy like setp called a kite cat it has a buggy frame with hobiecat type floters as for the kayak kiters they are here at the beaches once in a while and it loooks like fun
  17. i rember that year it was 6 and the winds were sloppy but they stayed up all day
  18. can you add your own photos i got a few i would like to share with the forem???
  19. my revs are definately ladies they are sexy and always give me pleasure when i take them to the beach he he he he
  20. great advise thats why i love this forem the photos give me a good idea on how its done it doesnt look that hard im gonna give it a try thanks guys
  21. ive had a shockwave for 1 year now and its a great kite it will keep you on your toes if you get a supersonic get the vented verson i flew 1 a month ago it was a fast and smooth kite you could probly fly it in a 30 + wind as for my shock its really not much diffrent then a regular super sonic other then a shockwave haveing a harder pull
  22. the prizm 3d is a better choise a small kite and a great ul
  23. i did a couple mods to my rob hills buggy by fitting it for bigger tires a wheel called rolleeze a beach sand tire uset commonly on hobie cat trailers and waverunner carts this thing rides good if you want to see some pics of it send me your e mail address and ill send them to you
  24. i have an hq flowform 7.0 and i dont know how to tie a daizy chain for the time being ive been putting my bridle in a loop in the middle and i fold up the kite around it so far its working without a problem but a daizy chain would be better thanks all
  25. just rember you cant fly a quad like a dual steering a quad doesnt require the constant arm movements you can use your arms in some tricks like floating but the quad is more hand and wrist ive taught a few dualliners a quad and the first instint is to use the arms and after that the kites falls out of the air and then they cant figure out how they cant keep the kite aloft. quads are not hard to learn take some alone time with your kite and just like your dual lines it will come to you
