hello again chetr if you get the wren or anyother indoor kite rember to watch the wind range i would only fly the indoor kite between 0 to 3 mph no more then that and watch what areas you fly in i too fly in small fields and outings with my indoor kites and danger can lurk everywhere (trees water rough ground etc) be aware of how fradgile they are and youll see when you do fly that youll be able to fly in places you never could before have fun

the big bang is a great kite all around. for $80 the prizm nexus is a good package it fies in a wide range of wind and packs in a small case good for travel

the rev 1.5 sul is a good quad line ultra light but if you dont wnat quadlines a good dual line beginer is the new tech desire ul or the prizm flashlight bothe are nicely priced and fly in a 0 to 9 wind range

the wren pro is a better kite then the wren but bot peform good the pro is eazier to fly indoors get it if you can

well id have to learn those tricks outdoors first for right now im happy just keeping up in the air ive been doing loops and 360s and some type of spin trick where the kite looks like a star when doing the trick i just jerk lon lines and the thing does it i dont know how really

this year in wildwood they only did 2 because their was a big turnout of kites larger then usual im trying to contact gomberg to see if they will do it next year

im actuall getting read to head to ac next week its only an hour from home and i like to fly there at least 5 times in the summer ive been there 3 already next smirnoff ice $2.00 per drink ill end up seeing 2 revs on the end of my line instead of 1

here in wildwood the the winds are only good off the ocean or bay of the land they are usually gusty 10 mph with 30 gust or more i usually use a whole 3 wrap set i only go 2 wrap in a light breeze i never know you could mix up the sizes of spars until now

its always fun flying revs when youve had a few espically when i go to atlantic city and visit the beach bars i fly my revs right there and stop in for a few beers and sometimes the bartenders will give me one on the house for giveing them a good show

this might sound strange but when i fly my kites i feel like i can forgrt about reality and real life for that time im in the air it doesnt matter what type of kite im flying i look at the kite and i think how free it is and i get that same feeling how free i am when im flying it so amy i hear ya when you say you have your heart up there

check the bridle and also make sure your launching in the right wind direction in a small area like a park field its eazy to get confused a few eazy pulls and it should go right up

a good buggy for the money and portable very stable and handles well

i always make a day to get out to the beach penny but this time of year its to hard because of the heavy beach crowds but this fall im going out all the time

i have a 2 wrap frame in my 1.5 vented and i love it for light winds and i switch back to the stock frame when the winds pick up as for covering the vents i wouldnt recomend that

this might souns stupid to most of you vetran kite fliers but i actually wind my lines on seprate winders 2 lines on each one this has been the only way ive ever known to have a successful time winding and un winding quad lines it doesnt take any more time then putting them all on 1 winder ive flown with other fliers that thought (what kind of setup is that) but ive done it for years and ive never had a problem with it so i guess everyone has a routine they follow

all you have to do is visit revolution kites.com and order 2 wrap spars for your kite i use them on my 1.5 in light winds and they work great
