john that is the first time ive ever browsed the videos and that lee sedwick ballet in wildwood was a shocker i was there to watch that and this is the first time ive seen it since then it was one reason i got into sport flying great job on the video i sure wished i could have met lee that day but to see his ballet that day was a great

i did a similar adjustment to my flexifoil handles but i only have 3 knots aon my brake leaders

a tub sounds good i wonder if wollite would be to strong and wear the decals off the sail

i too play the keyboards and guitar kite flying is another way i found to love life as for the quads in the years ive flown them i always find something new there is never a same ol thing with a quad line fly every day its new fun

i use hot soapy water and a gentle wipeing with a soft cloth then let the sail dry while held open i dont do it in the sun due to fadeing i do it in my basement

i took mine off a year ago and never put them back on

thanks penny i didnt know if the caps would add weight ive been flying mine outdoors in still air its hard to get gyms now that the school year started but in going to try it

i fly my wren outdoors and i do fine

rob i know ive gone therugh so many spars with this kite then any other kite i have the revs are the only kites that can take the abuse i dish out

it does amaze me every time i fly it the way it handles youd never know it is a cheapie kite

i too am loveing this thread it takes me back to my flying spot at the old school yard when i was a kid now the local town moved the school to another location and the old field is a 20 home neighborhood i look and wonder what houses were built on my old flying area

rob you can go to a craft store and buy a special art spray paint that comes in small cans i forget the name ill find out for you as fpr regular krylon spray paint i dont know if that would be to thick or have chemicals that can ruin a sail i havent painted a sail yet for i am new to this but my best advise is to trace your design on paper and carefully use the craft paint with a straight divider to keep every thing from over lapping eachother (colors and outlines) good luck

once you fly a quad youll know no other way of flying

i too have the bb and love how it peforms when i got it i didnt think it would fly well but i suprized me alot

what type of 4 m foil do you have every brand is diffrent with flight and power for example the flexifoil blade 3 4.o has more power then a HQ crossfire 4.o

i rember those kites john they were fun to fly i forgot how much they were i still have my hawaiin spinoff that i got in 89 it was one of my first stunt kites and wildwood at the time were selling them everywhere all of the boardwalk stores from the summer of 86 untill summer 90 had them everywhere that cheetah was a fast one good for the expert flier

makes me wonder why rev doesnt stock their handles with settings so far mi indoor handles are the only ones i got with leaders that have knot settings

i beefed up my indoor as well by adding a little bit of sail tabe on the endcaps i fly mine both indoor and outdoor and found the only flaw with this kite is the weak end cap setup however it does look eazy ti fix if i break the small tie that holds them on
