  1. well its good to get out when you can its not so eaze for me eitherbut when i do get out i make the best of it im lucky to only live 5 minutes from a good beach and good flying fields
  2. it all depends on your flying style tuneing leaders are diffrent with all kites youll have to do your knots as you fly youll notice a diffrence in pull responce and reverse control as well as haveing settings for diffrent wind speeds my leaders for my blast are 10 inches long with 10 knots 1 inch apart but you might find that a diffrent setting might be better for you so it all depends on what is comfortable foy you and you can do it at the field by just makeing a knot 1 inch from the first knot just make sure you use a leader line that you can untie bridle line works good you can also buy a spool of 100 foot 300 # singlt line dacron its thick and holds knots well and you can tie and untie knots eazly with no hastle good luck to you let me know how you do
  3. gone with the wind forum has a frapper chat that you can get into by going to the forum and signing up for frapper it would be cool to have a chat room ive been waiting for someone to open 1 up

  5. it is cool watching lam when he comes here to the east as for my indoor i dont get many indoor spots to fly now that the school year has started so its out doors for me the kite does work wonders when the winds are still i still cant get over the fact then with no movement of breeze at all i can still fly this kite it is worth the money and i love it its a little sloiwer then most of my revs but still a godsend for no wind days

  11. mine did not in fact those are the only endcaps i kept on because i dont have a problem with them the top ones dont hit the ground like the bottom and side ones do but my top caps are held on by thr top bridles no bungees only bungees on my kite are side and bottom yours is an older model so it might be diffrent mabie not
  12. the micron is really fast in a 20 mph wind with 30 foot lines just try to keep up with it
  13. i like the handles better then the bar its much eazier to control the kite
  14. no worries penny i used new bungee line off of a junk spare parts exp sail that i have.the bungees that came with my indoor got all chewed up from those weak end caps i havent flown the kite yet but it doesnt feel any heavier then before the exp bungee line is just a little thicker then the origanal so that should make for more durabilty thanks again
  15. you could do that in a fresh water lake i do it all the time but never in salt water
  16. the fc is a precice kite that does all the old and new tricks out there as smooth as it is and it is a good turining kite so team flying should do well for you

  20. i dont own an acrobatix but ive flown it indoors ansd outdoors its a great light wind kite ive never flown it past 6 mph and it is fun now that i think about it im going to go get one
  21. get a rev 1.5 it has a 3 wrap leading edge that you can learn on in time you can order a 2 wrap frame the larger LE that comes with that kite is much stronger and is good for a higher wind witch is what you want 10 mph is a good learning curve once you get better the 2 wrap frame is better for light wind peformance but can break eazier then the 3 wrap frame
  22. i have used super glue but i use light amouts it comes out like water and can be messy
  23. start with doing stalls and once you get the feel for the windows edge you can learn axels their pretty simple and so are fades the acrobatix is a good kite for those tricks and many more
