harrier Posted August 16, 2007 Author Report Posted August 16, 2007 Where were you Bruce?? I was worried the Rev would split when it was rubbing on the line. Shows how strong it is.Good Vid. Hi Chris, we were flying here, http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?ie=UTF8&...019956&z=16 If you grab the sat. image and move it around you will see we are in the middle of a massive holiday park, we like to put kites up infront of folk who don't get to see them much, y'know, spread the word. You would think we were part of some secret society some of the comments we get, its real disappointing how little most folk here know of modern kiting. Traders are not helping, just tucked away on the net, it is surprising how many folk who approach us who do not have net access. The Rev 1 sail won't have to wait too long before it gets up close with a sewing machine I suspect. A glimpse of what we get up to and a small selection of Robs kites can be seen here: http://picasaweb.google.co.uk/flyincam/Seawick Quote
Grandpa Posted August 16, 2007 Report Posted August 16, 2007 Great Fun! I take it the cowardly Red Baron was chased off by big yellow???? Quote

Syruss Posted September 20, 2007 Report Posted September 20, 2007 Nice flying the warbird never caught you, though the yellow plane had you in it's sites a couple of times! Quote
harrier Posted September 21, 2007 Author Report Posted September 21, 2007 Ant, the camera was mounted on a quad made especially for camera lifting, its a bit easier to fly than a Rev and has more lift, it allows me to get in much closer than I can with the normal Kap setup. http://www.flickr.com/photos/b2kap/728514491/ Grandpa the kid got a prize, a big one, we let him live after grabbing Rob's Rev. Baloo Posted September 22, 2007 Report Posted September 22, 2007 Nice one, or actually more than one Bruce. Hopefully we will get to the same festival and meet up again soon. Regards, Chris. Quote
harrier Posted September 30, 2007 Author Report Posted September 30, 2007 Still aint found nothin better to do, made another quad to play with, it dont need wind, the air just has to suck ever so slightly. http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=...89&hl=en-GB . Quote
