Geoff Posted May 23, 2005 Report Posted May 23, 2005 Very new to kite flying (circa April 2005) and we (my 9 year old and I) have two beetle's with 50' tails. They look absolutely amazing when they're both in the air. We started doing some formation flying tonight at the park. Both flying close together and with those long tails looks really impressive. Does anyone have any tips for a coupla newbies in this area? Maybe some easy manuevers that are visually fun? We were able to bring the kites vertical into a stall then peel off into opposing dives into opposing figure 8's then vertical again into stalls. We had quite a crowd. I think I talked to more observers this evening than ever before. Does anyone have any advice? Other than, "Dont hit each other". I DID find out that the beetle's are PHENOMINAL when it comes to crashing. We had a small "missed timing" turn and KABLEWIE...rained down kites and tails everywhere...but no damage done! Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks everyone! Quote

The Kite Shoppe Posted March 10, 2008 Report Posted March 10, 2008 Does someone know if it is the Krystal or the Krystal FX? It's a wonderful video Thank you eZe - Freaks Team www.freaksteam.com I haven't watched the video in over a year, and my computer doesn't seem to want to play divx now, but as I remember, that's the full sized Krystal. The K FX just came out a couple years ago, and is smaller. Quote
JoneZ Posted May 1, 2008 Report Posted May 1, 2008 I haven't watched the video in over a year, and my computer doesn't seem to want to play divx now, but as I remember, that's the full sized Krystal. The K FX just came out a couple years ago, and is smaller. Divx player download for Windows http://www.divx.com/divx/windows/download/index.php For Mac http://www.divx.com/divx/mac/download/index.php Should install all the appropriate codecs for use (I don't think it installs the web-divx player, so just right click the video above and "save as", then open once its finished d/ling).
