  2. Four strings and a Rev, hard to go wrong - tell us all about your first flights! Also, you know about extended leaders on top? Seriously, this is a must do... $2 worth of bridle line makes any Rev infinitely more controllable. http://kitelife.com/forum/topic/5530-pigtails-tuning-your-rev-with-knotted-leaders/
  3. Outstanding!
  4. Another wave of fresh energy... 1325 - @Turn11 1326 - @Rusty 12345 1327 - @nr2productions 1328 - @AJ Lauria Thanks friends and welcome again!
  5. Had to be done.
  6. Tada! I think we're good now. TapaTalk just released a new version and it seems to have cured the problem, I used the aforementioned (previously missing) list of subforums to drill down and reply here.
  7. These transition tails are fun, I still have a bunch from iQuad.

  11. Does this look like the screen we're talking about? Sub forums tab shows nothing when I go to it - definitely seems like there should be something.

Nothing like flying a big wing. Great scene!
  13. Dare I say as well, I might miss some videos because although I am genuinely interested, 3-5 is a lot for me to watch in one sitting (too many plates spinning most of the time)... Individual blog posts leave each one in our unread queue until we've interacted with it, and allow us to appreciate each one as we make time.
  14. Now I wish I was there.
  15. Frankie, I'm thinking you should really do a blog... We love these posts, but they kind of get lost every time we get into a new page... If you start a blog and post the videos there one at a time with a little back story on the scene, folks can always find them and comment directly on each one, they may also get more visibility when Google indexes our website for search results. Food for thought, but I definitely don't want break your stride - carry on being awesome.
  16. Rock on, you're in good hands with the other fliers here - no question is silly or too small.

  18. Argh. Will research, thanks for your patience and understanding.
  19. This is key - if you cut your own, be sure to wrap the cut ends with packing tape, thread and epoxy or anything to make it stronger.
  20. That's great, thanks Jens. I'm really honored to have been featured in the magazine, thanks again! http://kite-and-friends.de/international/john-barresi-kite-life-interview/ http://kite-and-friends.de/international/groundstake-kiting-with-john-barresi/

  22. I've also seen it on a couple of factory B's, but only on MID or VTD if the sail wasn't laid perfectly flat when the venting was sewn onto it.

  24. I'm surprised to hear that, almost all the ace pilots have reported a mid-body flutter in half the the NYM sails that go out, kind a slight dual line rumble in the body of the kite, has to do with how the seams tension up. This happens rarely if ever in any of the B's, SLEs, even the EXP.
