  1. Vortex 107%. Will fly and trick outdoors with almost no wind. Big kite [emoji171] Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  2. My first stunt was an HQ Stratus.... What is your flying style and what are your preferences? Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app

  4. I faced the same issue....remove the tail weight and try again. After you obtain the needed muscle memory (i.e. doing succefully about 1,000 flick flacks) install the weight again and you'll hopefully be able to limit your hand push and obtain a stable flare 🖒 Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  5. Enjoy [emoji106] Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  6. Try OPK UL (ultra light) or SUL to see what do you like. There are many excellent ULs coming from Europe, try to look for a second hand one. I can recommend the Benson DeepSpace UL - its a kite with a big wind range, very tricable and on the border of being an SUL Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  7. I can recommend the Premier Widow NG (don't go with older Widow, pick the NG). It is a big kite with a high-end design and good manufacturing quality. I don't know in person the other kites. In any case go with the intermmidiate lever kites. The expert level will be way too hard to handle... My best advice i can offer to you is to look for a second hand kite. If you want help with that send me a PM and I will share some links with you Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  8. 80' should be okay. Not long at all. Most people fly STD stunts with 25-32 meters lines. The length of the lines impact the size of your wind window. The longer they get, the bigger the wind window that you will get. You are right that with shorter lines the kite will become more responsive, but for a begginer this might be a disadvantage, since longer lines mean a more forgiving behavior. Try to get used to your 80' (or better 82'). This is also ITW' recommended length. BTW - consider reading about cutting lines and how to do it the right way (you should use sleeves) Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  9. Congratulations. Enjoy 🕶[emoji483] Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  10. Hi Your last video looks like the wind speed is slightly slow for the kite that you are trying to fly. My advice to you: Read and follow the kite specs (wind speed range). Read on-line about the wind window. Start practicing Dodd Gross's 6 step video (youtube). Its not about slack line tricks, its about gaining control over the kite and strating to work on the much needed "muscle memory". Its all about 3 basics - practice, practice and more practice [emoji3] Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app

  13. I live in Israel and no kite shops at all...so I can relate to your situation... I would order all of the parts mentioned except for the bridle. It is very unlikely that you can damage it in a crash or even after 100 crashes....If you insist buy one from the kite manufacturer or buy the the string, watch some YouTube toturials and DIY. As to the spars and other parts - you can replace one if you can identify and buy exactly the same....if not replace to alike but on both parts of the kite (keep a perfect symmetry). I buy most of my parts on line from "Kites and fun things" but there are some also some other excellent places on line. Good luck and welcome Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  14. I am only flying "real" stunts for a year and can preform a limited number of slack line tricks, but I can tell you that there is no one kite that is the best. Pending on design and structure even the "elite" stunts are different in performance. It's all about personal taste, skills and individual prioritization [emoji41] Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  15. BTW - to my view the most important "must have accessory is simply another kite. At this stage you can buy an affordable stunt exactly for those days when things don't go your way. I always go to fly with more than one kite. Repairing is part of the fun and you will always brake something....I prefer doing it at home and not waist "wind time" Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
  16. Forget about flying in Santiago....no winds....the city is in a valley.... You should travel to the sea shore, 1.5 hours from the city Sent from my SM-G935F using KiteLife mobile app
