  1. I'm with John on this, while it took a little time, I'm now much more precise with the non SLE leading edges revs than I ever was on an SLE equipped one. I also prefer all nylon sails. But, either one is a great kite, as is the Spirit Quad that Dorsal mentions. Keep in mind you can always add an SLE to an EXP, or, get the thinner LE for an SLE.
  2. Cool. The spars in my kite say "Revolution Equipped" on them. That contradicts the chart, but it was an early Rev II. Indeed, in the original RevIIs, they were 4 wrap equipped kites, unless specifically SUL RevIIs. All the later ones have been UL rods however.
  3. I bet Theresa could get one for you The Kite Shoppe http://www.thekiteshoppe.com
  4. Thats GREAT! K, how much did you pay her to put you down in the front? Nice work again Caitlin!
  5. I think that would violate a few Geneva Convention items... Besides the obvious violation of one's eyes being forced to see them...
  6. thanks for the update!
  7. You are more than welcome to borrow the Rev shorts...
  8. -excellent news indeed- I can hang onto that title for a while
  9. A very sad day indeed, he did huge amounts for kiting over the years.
  10. I may never sit down again... And, I do intend to enter Hot Tricks if they have it at LC!
  11. I'll be quite happily watching up in the stands, wearing whatever I want!
  12. Just you wait till I combine it with the rev shorts. I'll be unstoppable.
  13. Ill take a 2 disc one, and pickup in Lincoln city thanks!
  14. Agreed, fair enough for me too
  15. Heh, rest assured that anything I say in anything but English would confuse anyone. Which Ill see firsthand in Berck soon!
  16. MAN you are old Cal :-D I should have remembered that as I did read those articles when they came out. Ya, true enough, the year I attended in 97, there was at least one invited Canadian team on the bill from Montreal that couldnt' make it. One day, we'll return! For this year, I'll represent the entire country with my Revs...
  17. Excuse me while I wipe up the coke I just spit up all over my desk
  18. Ah cool stuff, thanks again Alan! Given last weekend was my first hot tricks, I'm thinking its just best to retire from them before LC and rest on my laurels while I can. I DID get those Rev shorts in the email today, I bet if I wore hot pants for hot tricks, I could either blind or scare a few people right off the bat... hmmmm...
  19. Its also pretty sad that Canada has never managed to field a team for this, nor the previous World Cup Though we talk about it a lot.
  20. Ya, I have some as well, mostly of the hot tricks stuff. I cant wait to see Alan's DVD when its ready. I'll have my camcorder with me, we'll do up some good footage and get it out there. It'd be a pleasure!
  21. I'm going to have to try that handle again, its a lot of fun but, the short time I tried it really made my brain hurt! We could film some closeup video at LC if you'd like to show people a little more detail. Or, we could keep it super secret squirrel like
  22. Well, if I could still fly, I'd get huge sympathy votes! Mind you, I have video of John doing that to himself and Alan still got him That helium kite was a brilliant idea, Im still laughing *remind me to buy a cup before LC*
  23. And dont doubt for a second that I wont be fiercely defending my title ;-) I have a few new things to use...
  24. Nooooo problem, you are always welcome to abuse my kite :-) Ill have it at LC for sure, it should be reframed by then after my bad meeting with a basketball hoop and ya, still buzzed about the weekend!
  25. ah look, its Beauty and the Beast!
