  1. HQ Handles actually have the L printed on the Red Handle and R printed on the blue.. Prism is the reverse.. there's really no right or wrong answer. the secret is to be consistent.

Touch of Blue got its leading edge today.
  3. Believe it or not, my first Rev was in 2014. followed quickly by a full vent and the Terry Murray stack. My first homemade mesh was in 2015.. I was flying my Symphony 2.2.4 Conversion (first real quad stunt kite) in 2013.. It was designed and converted in Early 2012. Most of my kites are pictured in my Galleries.

Busy day today. Scrapestry was started from scratch and LE's finished for all 4 Diamond's kites.. I'm hoping all four current projects will make it to the Rogallo Kite Festival in 2 weeks..
  5. Thank You.. This one may end up being a personal favorite.
  6. And Both panels are basted..
  7. Yet another project from the Icarex purchase.. Decided to sort the scrap pieces by length instead of spectrum this time.. Colors are fairly ranged and the only input I add to the color scheme was to try and not allow the same exact color to be on adjoining columns. Alternating everything with the black. This finishes all of my color pieces except for just under half a yard of the purple and the Sky Blue I bought for a specific project..
  8. You should try 240' lines.. It's CRAZY fun..
  9. The dogs are nothing compared to some "owners" http://youtu.be/DpWf2UWScsQ?t=2m34s
  10. While that unfortunately is a true statement, there's also a lot of "nature" from the Canadian Geese.. Ther are responsible dog owners but there are also way too many that think leash laws and policing pet waste are not their problems.

LE's for the three Diamond's kites under construction will be White.. @mrfaosfx I appreciate the tip on the Red but I'm already cutting enough fabric into strips
  13. @makatakam As I shared with you before, I don't have a shortage of ideas. I'd much rather build mine.. You should build yours.. As a graphics guy, I can design just about anything. For me personally, it's all about my vision and making it reality. Ideas are the Easy part. I've got well over 100 mock-ups in my head or on my computer that may never even see the light of day due to the complexity of the designs.
  14. Ready for Hands on!!
  15. I've been considering a table BUT I have very limited space and nowhere to store the table when not in use.. I don't typically use a template as every kite I make is different.. While the construction techniques are quite similar My diamonds are quite different from kite to kite. The original Jester kite was built using the edges you favor but with much larger panels for simplicity.. Diamonds was my change from the horizontal diamond check to the vertical.. I love the look of many (read all) of your kites and the piecework is absolutely spot on.. I have a couple of pretty wild concepts in my head for the technique as well. All of these are the same process just different angles for the piecework.
